I created two layouts, using the Flutter and Office Suite collections from Fancy Pants, mixed with several cut files from The Cut Shoppe.

Love You Just the Way You Are:

How awesome are the colors in the Flutter collection??!!  Love them!  I decided to use the Right on Target cut file and cut it in half once I backed it with different patterned papers.  I adhered the two half circles to the top and bottom of the layout, and used the circle design to add the alphas for my title.  And I wanted to incorporate one of our new cut files for this week, so I cut the Love banner from the A Banner Day cut file set, and used it for part of my title.

A Dog's Life:

If you haven't noticed yet, I kind of have a thing for the All Heart cut file!  :)  I think this is probably the 5th layout I've used it on so far.  I wanted to cut it from the Black & White diagonal striped patterned paper in the Fancy Pants Office Suite collection and back it with the Light Blue patterned paper.  Then I layered my photo, title and embellishments over the background.  I also used one of the cut files from thew new Wild Cards cut file set, to layer next to my photo.

We've also got three new cut file sets in The Cut Shoppe today!  These sets are perfect for coordinating with the Office Suite and Flutter collections.

Allie here today, and I'm excited to be sharing TWO fun layouts using the new and gorgeous Fancy Pants collections Flutter and Office Suite! They are both so beautiful and so different, and I love them both! The first layout I made is using the Flutter collection and the new Scalloping Circles cut file.

I backed the Scalloping Circles with some of the fun patterns from the Flutter collection! I love the vibrant and cheerful colors.

For my second layout, I used the I Heart String Art cut file and the Office Suite collection.

I think the black, gold, and pastels all look so neat together! And those big letters are so fun!

How To:  Use a Silhouette Cameo to cut All Heart cut file from Change paper, back with white cardstock.  Trim small pieces of patterned paper from the Flutter collection and use to back random hearts across the page.  Flick black ink across the page.  With a black fine tipped pen journal in one heart on the right side of page.  Print a small photo and layer with frame, tab and tag, adhere to page.  Finish page by adhering buttons, die cut pieces and chalkboard stickers.

LOVE

Hi, it's Cara here today!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the Doodle Dandy cutfile was my second's son's personality.  Ever since he was little (he'll be 12 in a couple of weeks) he's had such a strong character and and so much life in him.  The energy of the arrows and other bits really spoke to me :D  I made a busy layout to reflect his busy nature and lively character.

I saw Tehri Koskinen split up her LOVE title recently, so when I saw the stacked LO-VE in this cutfile, I knew I wanted to do the same :)

The Doodle Dandy cut file set consists of 7 hand-doodled icons, that can be used for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

Have a fantastic day!

Sweet Love

Hi everyone, Amy here to share a layout I created using a couple shapes from the Doodle Dandy cut file set.  Here is the cut file.

Here is my layout that I created.  I knew I wanted to use the large arrow as a guide for my pictures, and the stacked word "love" as my title.

Here are some closeups.

Thanks for visiting the blog today!

Love Life & Be Happy

What's a girl to do, when she can't decide what cut file to use on a layout?  How about use all of them!  That's exactly what I did on this week's layout.  I knew I wanted to work with the new Doodle Dandy cut file set, but couldn't decide which shape or shapes I wanted to use.  After a little bit of thinking...a nap...and coming back to it the next day, I thought it would be fun to use the whole set and create a colorful background for my layout!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/230864027/the-doodle-dandy-cut-file-set-consists?ref=shop_home_active_3

I enlarged the Doodle Dandy cut file and copied it and moved it to the side of the Studio mat.  Then I did an outline trace and sent through a piece of White cardstock.  After I removed the cardstock from my mat, I went back and re-cut each of the shapes on different patterned papers.  Then I backed each one with an alternating pattern and went back and added them to the negative outline shapes.

This was a really fun technique, and you can check out my full process for creating the layout by watching my new Process Video!

And this isn't the only new cut file in the Shop this week!  There are two other sets, that you won't want to miss!

You're Just Plain Cute!

Recently, I have been digging back to older photos and realizing that I have skipped over a bunch of some of my favorites!  Either the photos or just the activity.  I love these two photo's, it shows that he has been a fan of crafting since real young.  I used Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine for this project.  The cut file, "Lucky in Love" is adorable even with just the hearts highlighted in yellow paint.

You can see that I used the 8.5 x 11 Lucky in Love background cut file to quietly lay over the beautiful chevron paper.  I wanted it to show but not be to bold.  Touches of black help tie in my foam sticker title.

Thank you for taking a peek at my layout.  Head to The Cut Shoppe ETSY store and grab what you need for cut files.
