LoveLoveLove

Hello, crafty friends. It's Eunoung. Today I'll a layout with a beautiful wreath cutfile. I used a The Wreated in Love cut file set.

Wreated in Love cut file set in cludes three beautiful wreath die-cuts.

1. Cut a wreath cutfile by silhouette cameo.
2. Do machine stitching on background with a white thread.
3. Arrange wreath die-cut, a photo, other die-cuts.
4. Do machine stitching on die-cuts.
5. After adding a wreath die-cut, add a photo & other die-cuts using pop-dots.
6. Embellish with puffy stickers & cork stickers.
7. Stamp a date here & there.
(I usually stamp a date several times on a background as an embellishment)
8. Finish to splatter a white mist on background.

I hope you'll enjoy it and Thank you for stopping by.

Perfect First Word

Hi! Irit here with a new layout I created using some great cut files from the Cut Shoppe. Here's my finished project-

I used the Open Letter Alpha and Inner Circle (this was a free cutfile, make sure you sign up for the newsletter to get more!) for this layout-

I used copic markers to color my title, I love how that turned out!

I cut just half of one of the circles in the Inner Circle file, to use as a design element on my layout. That's one of the best things about cut files, the flexibility.

Thanks for visiting and check out the Cut Shoppe for these cut files and more!

Fall in Love

Good Morning Cut Shoppe fans!  Wendy here today to share some inspiration using two of the cut files Ashley has designed for the fall season.  We don't have fall here in FL, but with a little bit of creativity, any products/sayings will work.

I have used the Hello Fall cut file as my main inspiration for this page.

I then built a diagonal through my page moving from the top left dear cluster

to the bottom right title cluster.  I tied the diagonal in together with the use of the cut file, Bountiful Blessings, heart cuts in a dark grey color.

I love that I was able to use the Oakley Avenue collection designed by Ashley at Pretty Little Studio for my non fall page, and still enjoy the warmth that fall colors bring!  Make sure you stop by
The Cut Shoppe etsy and see all the great cut files that are available.

Love

Hello scrappy friends! It's Zinia hereand today I want to share with you a fun mixed media techniques using your cut files.

The cut files I used here are Optical Illusion and Oodles of doodles from The Cut Shoppe Etsy store.

The first thing I did, was to make my own stencil using the Optical Illusion cut file. I took a sheet of laminating plastic and cut out the design. You can also use a scrap piece of cardstock and make a single use stencil.

Then, I used that stencil to apply some heavy matte gel medium and start building some texture on my page. Once the gel was dry, I went in with my galatos and added some color. At the bottom corner, I smudged my gelatos on the page and then sprayed them with some water to help them spread and drip. For the top corner, I used a baby wipe to apply the color to give it a softer look.

From the Oodles of doodles set, I used the "love" design to cut and use as my title. I backed the empty areas with some papers from the Cute Girl 6x6 paper pad in colors that matched the gelatos.

The embellishing part is not that fancy. I didn't really want to cover a lot of the mixed media work I did on the background so I kept the embellishments cluster in small areas.

That was it! I really hope you enjoyed this page. It was definitely a really fun technique to play with and I really hope you will give this a try. Until next time, happy scrapping :)

Life is Good

Hello and Happy Black Friday! I have a happy layout to share with you today using the Flock of Feathers cut file!

I originally cut it out as a 12"x12" background, but it didn't go with what I had pictured, so I cut the feathers apart and backed about half of them. I played around with the arrangement of the feathers until I liked what I saw. I ended up with a burst of feathers coming from the center of the page!! Before I glued each one down, I stitched through the middle of some of them with gold thread.

Next, I added various embellishments surrounding my photo. I was excited to use the wood veneer feathers from my stash!

I had a blast making this layout. It's one of my favorites ever! I still have lots of feathers to use, and I can't wait to come up with something else for them. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Fall!

Hey friends! It's Monique on the blog today and I'm so excited to share my layout with you. I created today's Fall layout with The Cut Shoppe's Oakley Avenue cut file and the matching paper collection "Oakley Avenue" from Pretty Little Studio, which is also designed by Ashley Horton.

and this is the cut file, which you can find in the Etsy Store HERE.

I chose the leaf and cut it 32 times from 4 different sheets of paper and adhered them evenly over my white background. Next I machine stitched them horizontally and then built the rest of my page from there. I matted the photo, found this perfect foxy 3x4 journaling card to place right next to it and added a few fun die-cuts, some word stickers and a flair button. Last but not least came the paint drops and I was done.

This is all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look! Be sure to check out all the fun cut files in The Cut Shoppe Etsy Store before you go.

Until Next Time, Happy Scrapping!!

Make a Wish

Hello! Mandy with you today to share a layout that I created using the Party On cut file set from The Cut Shoppe!

My baby girl turned 2 last month and we had a little party with family and close friends to celebrate! It was such a beautiful day, and of course I got lots of cute photos to document the day!

My layout features the Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Make a Wish' collection!

I used two of the cut files from the Party On set...

The Party On cut file set, includes 8 birthday themed icons, that can be used for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

Here are some closeups...

I created a little cluster of pretty embellishments to the left of the photo.

I love combining different alphas to create my titles! I used the word 'wish' from the Party On cut file set, which I cut out of white cardstock, and I combined this with alpha stickers from the Make a Wish collection to complete my title.

I LOVE the banner cut file!! I cut it from wood grain patterned paper and added some foam tape underneath to give it some extra dimension.

I finished the layout off with a couple of lines of journaling and some pretty butterfly die-cuts.

If you're anything like me, I'm sure that you've got lots of birthday photos just waiting to be scrapped, so why don't you pull them out, and use the 'Party On' cut file set to get them documented!

Thanks for joining me on the blog today!

Hello Wednesdays!

Hey friends! Kelly here sharing a new fall layout using the Leaf It To Me Cut File from The Cut Shoppe!

Fall is my favorite time of year! The cooler weather, the leaves changing color and the awesome fall scrapbook goodies! I paired old with new for this layout using a couple Simple Stories collections that have been hanging around in my stash and then also using Ashley's fall collection, Oakley Avenue, from Pretty Little Studio.

I cut all four of the designs from the cut file. I love that two of the leaves are solid images and then the other two images are open allowing you to back the cut file with your favorite papers! Backing cut files is one of my favorite techniques!

I added the title to the top of the page using products from Oakley Avenue and paired those pieces with a banner from Simple Stories. I tucked the leaves behind my photo and then continued my title under the photo using alpha stickers from Simple Stories. I wanted to add a little more color between my typed journaling and the word 'Wednesday' so I grabbed a washi strip from the Oakley Avenue! The colors match PERFECTLY!

To finish the layout I added strips of paper from Simple Stories at the bottom of the page, gold machine stitching and splatters of Gold Color Shine.

Here's a process video showing how all of this came together!

Thank you so much for joining me today and don't forget to check out The Cut Shoppe!!
