Rest Stop

I hope you are all as excited as me, that there are some new cut files sets available in The Cut Shoppe today!!  It builds up a little bit more anticipation, with the Throwback Thursday in the mix, so it's really exciting to see what's available when the new sets are added!  :)

I knew I wanted to create a travel layout for this week, and the Hit the Road cut file set has some great travel images.  I decided to use the maze image, and create a large background element for my background, by enlarging the image in Silhouette Studio.

Once the maze was in place, I added a bit of adhesive, and then machine stitched each of the maze lines.  I love the added texture from the stitching!  And the photo and embellishments all had a perfect spot, so the layout came together really quickly.
