Hello Fall

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying these first days of fall -my favorite season-.   When Ashley shared the new cut files with us, I knew that i would be using the new Leaf Pile cut file in at least one of my layouts.

I used the 8.5x11 version of the Leaf Pile cut file, and sized to fit into 12x12 in layout.  I modified the original cut file a bit, by deleting all the cut lines from every other leaf.  The background was then cut on cream color card stock.  I used watercolors to color the leaves, and added some stitching to create the vines on the leaves.  I backed all the cut-out leaves with vellum, to soften up the background.

For my title, I used the Oakley Avenue. cut file.  I cut the words, "Hello Fall" from some toner paper that was foiled with gold/rose foil  - i love the color combination of the entire page-.

I added my photo with a few pieces of ephemera from Simple Stories Life in Color collection, and matted everything on some dark wood grain paper (also from Simple Stories).
