New Cut Files | Hello Elsa

I love it when scrapbook inspiration comes from home decor ideas.  The Scandinavian look is popular in home designs and it has made it's way into papercrafting also.  Today, we've got a new cut file set, Folk Art, that has some fun Scandinavian inspired designs.  There are also three other new cut file sets, so make sure you check them all out at the end of the post!

We were in Disney World this past October and had to have photos with the characters.  Of course, we had to stop and visit Elsa and Anna!  I thought one of the photos with Elsa would work perfectly with the Folk Art cut file.  I also used the Outburst cut file in the center of the layout, and backed it with one of the 6x6 patterned papers from the Crate Paper Chasing Dreams collection.

I cut both of the flower designs from the Folk Art cut file from different 6x6 papers in the Chasing Dreams collections.  Then I placed them around the outside edge of the Outburst cut file.  Instead of using a circle photo in the center of the cut file, I went with a square photo.  I really liked the contrast it added to the layout.

The open spaces of the Outburst cut file provided the perfect spots for some embellishments from the Chasing Dreams collection.  I love how this layout has a lot of color, pattern and embellishments, without completely covering up the cut files and background paper.

Head over to The Cut Shoppe Etsy store to take a peek at today's new cut files and all of the designs that are currently available!  There's something for every project you're working on!!
