Hi everyone! Welcome to our week long team up with the Design Team from Neat & Tangled! All week long, the Ladies on our Design Team will share inspiration here on the Blog, using stamp sets from Neat & Tangled along with cut files from The Cut Shoppe! And you're going to want to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog, to see how their Design Team is working with cut files from our Shop and incorporating them with the stamp sets! You can check out all of the amazing stamps and fun Dies in the Neat & Tangled Shop, and we'll have links in our posts this week, to the sets our Design Team used.
Today, Heather and Amy are here to share their amazing layouts with you, so let's take a look at what they created!
Destination Tannehill by Heather Adams:
Heather says: Mixing stamps and die cuts is
so fun! At first, I was challenged by the large "Origami Map" stamp from
Neat & Tangled that I chose to use with The Cut Shoppe's cut files.
But, I quickly got out of my rut when I thought of using the map as a
large focal point on my scrapbook layout. I used the coordinating die to
cut out the map since it fits the image so perfectly. I cut out some
words from the "Here & There" cut file set with my Silhouette Cameo,
thinking that I would layer them on one side of the page. I ended up
using just one of the words as a part of my title (the "destination"). I
used the "And I Quote" set of cut files to die cut some speech bubbles to
add to the design. I layered one speech bubble behind some stamped
sentiment strips and the other die cut I used to house my journaling. I
just love the different "feel" that the combined die cuts and stamps give
to the page.
Smile & Laugh by Amy Coose:
Amy says: Hi there, Amy here to share my layout I created using the All Heart cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with the You + Me stamp set from Neat and Tangled. You already know how much I love The Cut Shoppe and Ashley's cut files, but this was the first time using the stamps from Neat and Tangled.
I have to say I am a huge fan of their stamps now! They are so easy to
use, and really great quality. I had no problem adding them on my layout
and I loved the extra touch the stamping added. I love that you can create different sentiments like I did here on one
of heart negatives that were cut out. It made a great embellishment. This cut file is definitely one of my favorites that Ashley has made, although I really love all the cut files she makes.
In addition to all of the inspiration you'll be seeing this week, we'll also have some great giveaways and discounts!
