Hello everyone!
Nathalie here with you today to share a new fall layout for the Cut Shoppe using three cut files from the store: Boys Rule, Leaf it to Me, and Oakley Avenue.
For this layout, I started by using the scribbled star image of the Boys Rule cut file to create the circles on the background ( i just cut out the star on the file), I backed the circles with vellum, and added some hand stitching around the edge of the circle. The leaf shapes of the Oakley Avenue, and Leaf it to Me cut files were used to create all the leaves in the design.
I used vellum, and papers from Ashley Horton's Oakley Avenue collection for Pretty Little Studio to create, and back the leaf cut-outs (from the Leaf it to Me, and Oakley Avenue cut files). The rest of the embelishments come from the Oakley Avenue collection.
I hope this inspire you all to visit the Cut Shoppe Etsy store, and pick some of the many designs available. There is so many to choose from that can be used to document your memories. Remember to link your finished projects to the blog, or tag The Cut Shoppe when you share your projects on social media (#thecutshoppe). We love to see what you are creating!
Thank you for visiting today.
See you all soon!
This is definitely one of my favorite layouts!! So awesome!! Pinning!

DeleteThis is so cool! Can you tell me why you back the circles in vellum. #newbie
ReplyDeleteI love the softness the vellum lends to any layout, I think the soft shadow it gives to the inside of the circle brings the colors and the black and white picture to focus... Plus I am a vellum fanatic ( i use it on 90% of my work)...
