I then positioned those snowflakes on my layout using the patterned paper as a guide. Before adhering the snowflakes to the background, I added a little mixed media to the background. I wanted the snowflakes to have a lot of dimension so I only added a dot of adhesive in the center of the snowflakes to allow the edges of the snowflakes to curl naturally. I then added stitching around the circle using metallic silver thread. I tucked my photo into the snowflakes and added multiple winter themed embellishments around the page.
