Today, I have three things to share with you: 1. New cut files have been added to The Cut Shoppe, so you'll want to stop by the store and check them out. 2. I have a new layout to share with you, using some of the new cut files! 3. We will have our first Cut It Out Challenge, and we would love for you to play along!
First up, here is the new layout, using the Preppy Plaid background cut file and one of the phrases from the Say Anything cut file.
The Preppy Plaid background cut file is originally sized to 12x12, but I sized it down to 6x6, to layer behind my photo. I love the texture and subtle design it adds behind the photo. And the Hello Life title, was first cut on Black cardstock. After I removed it from my mat, I cut the outline of the word "Life" from a pink patterned paper from the Heidi Swapp Serendipity collection and layered it behind the outline. I think the pop of Pink with the contrast of the Black, is a fun look!
Okay, and now let's get to the Cut It Out Challenge!! Here are the details:
*Create a layout using at least one of the Cut Files, that can be purchased from The Cut Shoppe Etsy store.
*Come back to this post, and leave a link to your layout.
*Make sure you leave your link, by midnight CST on July 31st.
That's it...easy, peasy right?! A random winner will be selected for a $10 cut file shopping spree, and announced on August 1st!
