My All Time Favorite Cut Shoppe Layouts | Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here and today I would like to share with you my favorite projects created for The Cut Shoppe blog. I've been on Ashley's design team for almost two years, and have enjoyed every minute! Let's get started!
There are some amazing alphas and phrase cut files in the Cut Shoppe, and I love using them to create a great title-

 Here are some favorites-

I love getting my mixed media on with my cut files! Cutting pretty designs from white cardstock is such an easy way of using color and having fun with great results.

Here are some great options for cut files that work well with mixed media-

I loved being on The Cut Shoppe team and will continue using these awesome cut files. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Make the Days Count

Hello friends! Enza here and today I am sharing my last layout for The Cut Shoppe. I can't even begin to say how much I enjoyed being on the Design Team. What a wonderful year! Thank you so much, Ashley, for giving me this fantastic opportunity. I have loved creating with your cut files and will keep using them on my projects.

Today's layout features the Piece of My Heart cut file.

I started by adding some stitching to a few areas of the cut file. Some string art here, some backstitch there. I used colors that matched the ones in the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection.

To make the cut file stand out more, I offset the image and cut it out of white cardstock. Foam tape was used to adhere it down, just to give it more dimension.

I did not have any embellishments for this collection, so I just fussy cut as many images as I could out of several patterned papers. Lots of rose gold flowers and leaves, as well as some colorful cameras and a few sentiments.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a beautiful day!

Stitched Spiral Scallop

Hi friends! Kelly here to share my final layout as a Cut Shoppe Design Team member! I started my term with a Disney themed layout and I'm leaving today with another Disney themed layout!

I started in Cricut Design Space by uploading the Spiral Scallop Cut File. I converted the image to "write" so I could use the image as a guide for my hand stitching. I also wanted the scallop edge to touch each circle to create more room for my title. So I duplicated the cut file image and then used the "contour" feature to delete the scallops. I repeated the same process using the "contour" feature for the second image but I instead removed all of the circles. This left one image that had only scallops and one image that had only circles. I then resized the circles to fit directly up against the scallops.Once I had everything sized properly I "attached" the image and sent it to the Cricut.

I used multiple colors of pink embroidery floss and hand stitched each scalloped circle on a piece of light pink pattern paper from the Maggie Holmes Bloom Collection. I then positioned my circular photo in the center of the cut file image and added multiple Pink Paislee Take Me Away and Oh My Heart embellishments designed by Paige Evans.

I've had so much fun being part of The Cut Shoppe Design Team and am so grateful to Ashley for the opportunity! It has been a true pleasure!

I'll leave you now with a process video that has a Cricut Design Space tutorial showing you exactly how I used the Spiral Scallop Cut File for this layout! Remember to head to The Cut Shoppe Etsy Store to check out all of the cut file designs!

KEEPIN' IT REAL

Hi Everyone, Michelle here today with a new layout share featuring that fun free cut file from last month. It's also my very last share here as a designer for The Cut Shoppe and I'll be honest, I am NOT ready to give it all up 😭😭😭 I have loved my time here on the team, and am very thankful to Ashley for having me here this past year. Its truly been an amazing team to be apart of and one that I'm not ready to say goodbye to! But sadly I must..

Ok enough with the overly emotional start to the blog, lets get back to the fun stuff.. Creating and sharing.. Here's a look at what I created, using the messy circular hearts design from that free cut file set, which you can find HERE..

I kept the layout design pretty simple using the cut file design on the left, a cluster of photos off to the right, and a strips of pattern paper along the bottom to tie it all together. I've used 6x6 papers from the Take me Away collection by Pink Paislee to back the hearts and circles, plus added some co-ordinating papers behind each of the photos to ensure that the layout blended together well.

As there was so much colour, and multiple photos, I felt that I shouldn't overpower the layout with embellishments so I kept them super simple using the big floral die cut piece and gold foil chipboard from the same collection. The sequins and tiny word stickers were from my stash of random things.

I layered the photos around each other on a diagonal and balanced out the colour yellow from the hearts by placing a piece of pattern paper under the far right photo. The 'love ya' piece was from part of the tear off tab from the top of the 6x6 paper pad.

The photos I've documented here seem to be a regular occurrence in my camera roll. Leila loves to climb into tubs and boxes rather than sitting on a chair, the floor or the couch lol Such an imagination she has.

Well, sadly this brings us to the end of my layout share.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you that have stopped by the blog, Facebook and Instagram over the last year leaving words of encouragement for all the projects I've shared. Being part of this team was a dream come true and has truly been a wonderful experience. A big THANK YOU to Ashley again, its been amazing!!

Thanks, and as always...
HAPPY SCRAPPIN!!

Michelle x

I Love You So

Hello friends, today I'm sharing my last layout with you as a Design Team member of The Cut Shoppe. I've been honored to be a part of this team since the very beginning. I've had the best time working with Ashley and creating with her lovely cut files! They are so fun and inspring, and I have so many I haven't even used yet! Today's layout uses the Spiral Scallop cut file. For this page, I used the cut file exactly as it came and didn't alter it in any way.

I adhered my circles over a piece of mutli-colored patterned paper, and cut them out. I stitched them onto white cardstock, and added my photo, title, and embellishments! I like that the paper gave me the look of using different papers for each scallop, but I only had to use one!

Thank you for joining me today, and for the last three years! It's been a great ride!

First I Drink the Coffee . . .

Hello Cut Shoppe friends! It is hard to believe that a year has already gone by and I'm posting my last project with The Cut Shoppe. I have loved every minute of working with Ashley and this team of talented designers and look forward to future endeavors.

Today's project is a traveler's notebook spread using the Cuppa Joe cut file - even though I haven't traveled - which I am totally loving right now.

My project began with the spread on the left, which uses molding paste, a stencil, and gold embossing powder. Once I had the paste on the paper, I sprinkled the embossing powder over the top of everything, removed the excess, and then set it with my heat gun.

Next, I pulled some Pink Paislee and Crate Paper patterned papers from my stash (past Scrapbook Circle kits) and cut the sentiment using the Cuppa Joe file. These were adhered using foam squares and glue. This page was completed with a floral die from Paige Evans and a strip of the dotted paper to tie the spread together.

Next came the right side with my black and white photo. Here, I used more of the dotted paper from Paige Evans as a background. The photo is backed with patterned paper from Crate Paper and adhered with foam squares. Next, I used a journaling card that is cut in half - the top half is above the photo with the bottom half below.

The top of the photo is embellished with the gold "bliss" sentiment by Heidi Swapp and stickers from Webster's Pages and Shimelle.

The finished spread gives you an idea of just how much I love my morning coffee.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired to create!
