It's Katrina from Paper, Scissors and Glue on the blog today for my first post as a design team member! And I am so excited to be participating in the Simple Stories swap that is going on this week.
I have two projects to share a layout and a super quick fun fall card. I worked with the Pumpkin Spice collection for both projects. I used some fun older files from The Cut Shoppe. For my layout I used Borderlines and Hit The Road.
The Hit The Road file is a great option for titles! I actually sized the "adventure is out there" down and used it as a photo overlay, as well as my title.
To give you an idea of how big I made the file my picture is sized at approximately 4.25 inches tall by 6.50 inches wide.
The "hello" file is less that 2 inches tall. That is how wide my strip of that color paper was, so I sized it down to fit. I cut the "hello" out separately in three different papers and then filled it back in.
Next I created a super quick card from the Looks Like Autumn cut file. This file was an exclusive to Scrapbooknerd.com. It's not currently available (my bad), but they have other files available for free download from The Cut Shoppe! You can find all those files HERE.
I created an offset of the "hello autumn" shape and then duplicated it. I placed two long sides together and then welded to create my card base that mimics the shape! This card is super quick, it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish!
AND there's a discount code for you to use in The Cut Shoppe Etsy store!
That's all from me today! Be sure to hit the shop for these files and more! Thanks for stopping by today.
