Summer Vibes

Hi friends! It's Monique on The Cut Shoppe blog today sharing a layout created with the new "Summer Vibes" cut file. I really love this cut file and it's so perfect to combine with lots of the new summer collection that are out there! I used the Oasis collection from Crate Paper to create my page:

I cut both the title and the flamingo from the Oasis "Sunset" sheet. I love how the color changes in this sheet.

Apart from the Oasis collection I also used a few embellishments from the Chasing Dreams collection, also from Crate Paper:

And here's the Summer Vibes cut file I used:

Best Ever

Hello everyone! It's Zinia again to share with you a fun layout I created using a lovely cut file from The Cut Shoppe store.

A while ago I cut out the Have a Heart background design for a layout but I didn't get to use it in the end. So while I was organizing my desk I rediscovered it and decided to make something fun out of it.

Instead of using it as a background, I cut out the heart clusters and used them as flower embellishments. I folded them to give them extra dimension and stuck some adhesive wooden buttons from Shimelle's Little by Little collection in the middle of each piece.

I kept the design fairly simple. I used a chevron piece of paper across the page and then scattered my flowers all over the place.

I filled in the gaps with more floral stickers and die cuts as well as some butterflies from the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection.

This layout is full of vibrant colors, fun designs and dimensional elements that are ready to fly off the page.

Ain't Life Grand

Hi! Irit here and I'm excited to share with you my latest project using some great heart cut files from The Cut Shoppe. I created a large shaker element on my layout, here it is-

I created this layout to document a visit to the children's museum in Schoenbrunn palace in Vienna. At the end of the exhibition everyone can dress up as queens and kinds, so much fun!
Here are the cut files I used-

The Bless Your Heart cut file set includes 4 heart designs, that can be used for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

I cut one of the hearts from Bless your heart, adhered it to a piece of acetate, and then adhered that to a piece of pink patterned paper, but leaving a little opening to pour in the sequins.

I used another heart design from Everyday Essentials as a smaller embellishment, and backed that with light blue patterned paper.

I love the whimsical feel of this layout! Thanks so much for stopping by, and make sure to check The Cut Shoppe for these cut files and more!

You Are My Sunshine

Hello there! Today I'm sharing a layout using the new Cloud Nine cut file, which makes an awesome background!

This layout was super easy to create! I cut the Cloud Nine from white cardstock, and backed it with papers from the Take Me Away 6"x6" pad. Keeping with the cloud theme, I added a title that had the word "sunshine" in it! I figured that the sun and clouds go together! I added a few more embellishments and some pink splatters, then the layout was complete!

Thanks for joining me today, I can't wait to see how you use this cut file!

My Friend

Hello Cut Shoppe friends! Today I am sharing a project made with the Flower Power cut file from The Cut Shoppe Etsy store.

As a teacher, I have the opportunity to spend time with some pretty amazing people and these two are no exception. Last week I went with two other advisers and 20 high school students to the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) state competition for 4 days. During that time, I was able to connect with kids and forge some lasting relationships. These two happened to show me photos they had taken earlier and agreed to let me use them on a layout.

To begin the project, I used the Flower Power cut file with white card stock. With the background cut, I then backed almost all of the flowers with patterned papers from Fancy Pants Designs, Pretty Little Studio, and Pink Paislee.

I adhered the photos to the page and began embellishing using the Fancy Pants Designs Millie and June Collection.

The journaling is simple with a few strips of printed text below the pictures.

Once I got home I was able to add a bit of stitching to the centers of a few flowers for texture. The finished page is fun and captures great memories of time well spent.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired to create!!

Happy Days

Hello there! Enza here to share a new layout featuring the Get around cut file and the beautiful Ain't Life Grand collection designed by Ashley for Pretty Little Studio.

I wanted to use multiple patterned papers from the collection, so the wheel design worked perfectly for it. I enlarged the cut file to the desired dimensions and started backing it up with some of my favorite papers. Once the background was ready, I adhered it to white cardstock with a piece of foam sheet.

As I wanted my photo to stand out a little more, I decided to print it in black and white and created a frame around it with some die cut flowers.

Next, the clusters. Clouds and hearts in the prettiest colors!

I finished the layout with lots of enamel dots that matched the colors in the papers.

Cut files are an amazing way to incorporate different patterns and colors in one page. Visit The Cut Shoppe Etsy store for this and other inspiring designs.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Happy Memories

Hey friends! Kelly here to share a new layout with you using the Washi Love Cut File and the Follow Your Heart Cut File.

I started in Cricut Design Space by slicing apart the Washi Love Cut File and then copied/pasted the washi designs to create a pattern. I then resized each washi strip to 11.5" in length. Next, I added the Follow Your Heart Cut File and sized it appropriately over the washi strips. My intention is to use the Follow Your Heart Cut File as a template for hand stitching. I wanted the number of hand stitched hearts to match the number of washi strips so I copied/pasted the heart image and sized it slightly smaller than the first.

After the washi strips were cut on a patterned paper from the Shimelle Little By Little Collection, I lightly adhered them to the white cardstock background. I then took the largest heart from the Follow Your Heart Cut File, held it in place with my hand, and used my piercing tool to poke holes for the hand stitching. I repeated this same step with the smaller heart from the same cut file.

I matched the embroidery floss as closely as I could to the colors in the patterned paper washi strips. I positioned the photo on the bottom right and added a few more ephemera pieces from the Shimelle Little By Little Collection as layering pieces. I then added my title using a combination of words from Heidi Swapp and the Pink Paislee C'est La Vie Collection.

Here's a look at how the layout came together!!

Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me and don't forget to head over to The Cut Shoppe Etsy Store to check out all of the cut files and digital collections.

Summer Fun

Hi All,

Zsoka here with you today to show you my latest layout I've created for The Cut Shoppe.

I chose the Geo to Go cut file this time. I love this cut file, it's not the first time I used it!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/201043453/the-geo-to-go-cut-file-is-a-12x12?ref=hp_rv

I decided to go with the wonderful summer collection, Endless Summer from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I am not so into pastels but this collection is a dream to work with, I am glad I bought it! It simply makes me happy. Every single piece! What I love about CVS the most is the big variety of embellies with each collection. My favourites are the woodies, I may or may not have bought 3 packs of them :D.

I started out by backing my cut file with different patterned papers as usual. This took me a while, so I was watching Jane the Virgin in the meantime. Have you guys seen it? Hilarious. I used to watch telenovelas as a kid, because that was pretty much all we had on TV back then, ha! Anyhow, back to topic.

I printed a big size photo for a layout and I only have 12x18" photo paper, which I normally waste...But this time I actually took the time and figured out how to fill it up and print more photos on it in all sorts of sizes. Well this one is a bit of an odd size, I just enlarged it to fit in the last bit of white space I had left.

I put some tissue paper behind my photo and adhered it to my background. I then cut a frame from the ephemera pack in half and glued these in two corners of the photo, just to add a little something. My title is also from the ephemera pack, I glued SUMMER directly onto my photo and added some pop dots to the FUN die cut to raise it up a bit. I attached a small die cut with a clip - this is the only thing on the layout that is not from Endless Summer. I believe this is from Freckled Fawn. Also a woodie found its new home in this corner!

There are a few hibiscus die cuts in the ephemera pack and they are so gorgeous! I tucked them under my photo on the top and on the left. Some of them I popped up to give them a bit of dimension.
I then added some more ephemera pieces to the left side of my photo, plus a puffy camera and a woodie. Of course!

One of the Geo tags I filled with enamel shapes and yet another woodie. :)

To finish it off, I stamped my date and added some black ink splatters. No journaling on this one since I scrapped several photos from the same day!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I could inspire you X
