You And Me | Erica Thompson

Hello everyone! Can you all believe today is the last day of February! This month has gone by so fast and so much inspiration has been shared! Today I want to share a layout using the You and Me cut file that was just released on February 21st!
https://thecutshoppe.com.co/collections/new-designs/products/you-and-me

If you have been following me for awhile then you know I love to use cut files with big words! I cut this out in some American Crafts smooth white cardstock and backed it with papers from the Jillibean Soup Garden Harvest collection. I just love the rich colors in this collection!
I added some fun splashes of color to my background using inks and mists from my stash.
This fun heart epoxy from Scrappin Happy Studio was the perfect embellishment to add to this layout of my husband and our one and only little girl!
I love that Ashely's files are so easy to use and you can resize them to fit your projects! Here is a look at my full layout!
You can check out my process video HERE on my YouTube channel! Make sure to check out all the newly released cutfiles in The Cut Shop!

beautiful you | orange gearle

Hello!  Orange Gearle here with a layout using the Beautiful You cut file. I cut the file using white card stock. I intended to use white letters, on my blue background, but then an accident happened, and I really liked the accident!  When I set the negative down on my paper, I had to go with it! Here is my layout :

Here's another look at the file in use:

Since my daughter's name is Bea, I thought it was the perfect file to use with a pic of her looking her BEAutiful self. I also liked the idea of backing the BEA with a different color. :-) I used a punch to punch out different sizes of butterflies to add as embellishment. I also added some awesome flair!

Bea had been in the sun the whole weekend, and looked so brown! So that is what I journaled about!

I made a video of my process if that's something that suits your fancy!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again soon! XO o.g.

Faith | Sasha Biyanova

Hello everyone!

Sasha here today with my new layout using Rose Garden cut file. I remember the quote by Richard Sheridan: "Won't you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you" )

This cut file is so beautiful so I tried to make something equally beautiful and couldn't even imagine using hand-writing)

And I really love the result!!!

This layout is so tender because it's about my second pregnancy! And that was hard time! I think I chose the right title for that period. And I think I should write everything about this!

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope, you were inspired and checked out another cut files in the shop!

And happy crafting!!!

Beautiful | Marsha Farris

Hey friends!  Marsha here, and today I'm sharing a layout in my traveler's notebook album.  For my spread, I used the new Beautiful You cut file available at The Cut Shoppe.

I used mainly the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection to complete this layout.  To begin, I cut out the cut file using a wood grain paper from this collection.  I chose to back it with an ombre patterned paper.  I just love the way it looks layered behind the wood grain!  Next, I chose a few die cuts and stickers from this collection to create a small embellishment cluster at the bottom of the page.

For the other page, I layered my photo behind a photo frame die cut and placed a few other ephemera pieces at the bottom and top of the photo.  This helps to lead the eye around the page and draws attention to the photo of me with my precious niece.

I hand wrote my journaling on a tag and tucked it behind the photo.  For the final finishing touches, I did some machine stitching on the edges of both pages and sprinkled some wood veneer dot and heart pieces around the page.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope I have given you some ideas for using cut files on your traveler's notebook layouts or other projects!

No Place Like Home

Hey there! It's Devra here with you today.  I have a simple but funny page to share today using the There's No Place Like Home cut file.

I love this line from The Wizard of Oz. But hmmmm, how could I use it? Well, that was certainly solved when my son came home from school for the weekend! He woke up in the morning, came downstairs, and went right back to sleep on the couch. What I realized was that he was relaxed and comfortable. So there really is no place like home.

This page is really very simple because the cut file is everything! It's the title, embellishment and focal point all in one. I cut each word in different papers from the Carta Bella Our House collection. I glued them down a bit wonky to make it feel more playful. A few stickers, die cuts and flair from A Flair for Buttons were all that were needed to finish it off.

I backed only the word HOME to give it some emphasis.

That's all I have for you today. Head over to The Cut Shoppe where you can get this and so many fantastic cut files. See you again soon!

Tic Tac XO - I Like You Lots | Amanda Baldwin

Hi TCS Friends!

Amanda here, and today I am sharing more of the love theme for February!
What can I say, I love all the heart day things!
Here's my layout of my two darlings being very sweet together,
"I Like You Lots"

Nawww! SO adorable!
I have featured the awesome Tic Tac XO cut file & combined it with the Crate Paper: Main Squeeze and La la Love lines. Super sweet!
That Tic Tac XO digital cut file is all kinds of awesomeness!
Here's a closer look at it...

Such a fun design - LOVE!!!
Grab the Tic Tac XO cut file from The Cut Shoppe HERE.
I've cut it with Main Squeeze pattern paper, Spark, and machine stitched the grid lines onto the white cardstock base.

I just adore the tiny hearts pattern paper! Perfect for this larger designed background cut file!
I 'fill' the empty squares of the design with chipboard & ephemera pieces,

and layer my photo onto the heart center.

Lots of pretty heart embellishments adorn my central photo! You'll spy chipboard, glitter, stickers, die cut ephemera and even puffy sticker hearts embellishing this cluster. Love it!

SO super adorable!
Those smiley heart faces are perfect for my happy two, & are just the cutest!

I like you lots, indeed!
Such a darling layout for my two cherubs!

I hope you liked my layout, & feel inspired to use the Tic Tac XO cut file in your love theme projects!
Get this fabulous file from The Cut Shoppe HERE.

New Cut Files | Beautiful You

Hi there!  It's time to check out our NEWEST Cut File designs in The Cut Shoppe Store!  I always have such a hard time choosing which design I want to use for my layouts!!  Today, I went with the Beautiful You Cut File.  It makes a great title for your layout, and I always like to use large titles on my pages!

https://thecutshoppe.com.co/collections/new-designs/products/beautiful-you

This cut file is perfect for adding your favorite patterned papers to your layout.  I used my NEW Bohemian Dreams collection.  You can find it in the Pretty Little Studio Shop.  It was quick and easy to back the open letters with a mix of the 8x8 and 12x12 patterned papers.  I cut the word "You" separately and also cut an outline from White card stock to help make the word stand out from the background paper.

Since the title created a strong vertical line on my layout, I wanted to contrast it with a horizontal line that included my photo and embellishments.  Black & White photos are usually my go to, because they work with any collection.  I added some foam behind the photo to give it dimension on the layout.  And I can never complete a layout without having clustering around my photo!!

I created a second cluster on the left hand side of the layout, to balance the cluster on the right hand side.  Using a mix of embellishments and dimension really helps add a lot of interest to your clusters.  For a finishing touch, I machine stitched down the center of each of the butterflies.

You can check out my NEW Process Video to see how everything came together on this layout.  The Beautiful You Cut File made it really easy, because it did so much of the work for me!

Now, you can head over to The Cut Shoppe Store and take a look at all of our NEW Designs!  We've always got a fun design that will add that perfect, unique look to all of your projects!!

Collect Moments

Hey everyone, Michelle here today sharing a new LO using the Social Butterfly cut file.  I used a single piece or pattern paper to back my butterflies.  I loved the watercolor effect of this paper from Vicki Boutin.  It was perfect to give a variety of colors to my butterflies.

I added some messy stitching to the butterflies just to make them stand out more.  The messy stitches may or may not have been on purpose.  LOL  Either was I really like how they came out.

For me it's all about the little details when I create a LO.  Stitching, a border around my LO, perfect sayings...I love when it all comes together perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by!

She Loves Her Books with Joanna Bandelin

Hello friends, Joanna Bandelin here with you today. I've got a new scrapbook page to share using the Stained Glass Heart cut file. I have been itching to use some bright colorful papers and get out of this  winter funk that's going around. I used some Stay Colorful papers from the Dear Lizzy collection to back my cut file and I love the end results!

My daughter loves looking through her books and this day I had to get a picture of her "reading" to her stuffed animals. Too cute!
I wanted the title to be full of color also, so I used some On Trend Thickers.

I kept the embellishments pretty simple since the papers are busy enough. I used a few stickers, enamel dots, and some chipboard pieces. I love adding tags when I can, with a little bit of ribbon or twine,  and it completes the page.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a colorful day!
