happiness is a marshall mini-stack | orange gearle

Hi!  Orange Gearle here with a fun, colorful layout using the Swirly & Twirly cut file. I grabbed a bunch of different Pinkfresh Studio collections (Out and About, Everyday Musings, and Joyful Day) and mixed and matched and came up with a rainbow of color!

Here is what the Swirly & Twirly cut file looks like in the shop.

I cut it first using white card stock.  Then, in the Silhouette software, I deleted all of the middle parts, and cut the outer part of the file using the rainbow paper from Out and About. This made it super easy to back the file!

The cut file inspired me to find all the circles and add them to my layout!  I used a few different sizes of circle punches, as well as circle embellishments to add clusters of circles throughout the page.

I popped up some of the circles with craft foam, and I also added some flair from {a flair for buttons} in each of the clusters.  This helped add some fun textures and dimension. Here are a few more close ups.

I also made a video of my process if that's something that suits your fancy!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again soon! XO o.g.

School Carnival | Kelly Janes

Hi friends! Kelly here with a new 12x12 layout using the All Heart Cut File!

I started in Cricut Design Space by sizing the cut file to 11.5 inches. I then "sliced" out the two inner circles of hearts. I then converted the remaining hearts to "write" so the hearts would be drawn on my 12x12 white cardstock.

After the hearts were drawn, I used a paper piercer and poked holes along the hearts. I then took embroidery floss in multiple colors and stitched the hearts in a string art fashion. After the hearts were stitched, I added my photo in the center of the layout. I added my title using black alpha stickers and I love the stark contrast between the rainbow hearts and the black letters.

I wanted the hearts to be the focus of the layout so I added very few embellishments. I felt all the layout needed was a couple flower die cuts and stickers next to the photo.

Thank you so much for joining me today and remember to visit The Cut Shoppe Store to check out all of the cut files!

Be You with Joanna Bandelin

Hello friends! Joanna Bandelin here, I'm sharing a fun scrapbook page featuring the fabulous Pretty as a Peacock cut file. I used lots of colorful Amy Tangerine papers  & I did lots of fussy cutting.

I layered some pattern papers behind the photo of my girls, then embellished with lots of flowers that I fussy cut.

I created a cluster of more fussy cut flowers and a large sticker in the top left corner.

I love how bold this cut file is, it was fun backing it with all the colors of the rainbow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Strut Your Stuff

Hello there! I'ts Devra  today! This Pretty as a Peacock might be one of my favorite cut files ever. But when I saw it, all I could think of was stitching it.  So I did!

I didn't have a photo in mind when I started, but I like bright colors, so I started there with bright blues, greens and pinks. By the time I finished sewing, I had the photo, and the rest of the product. Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope arrived  just in time! I used the Chasing Rainbow paper behind the body of the peacock. I tried something new, using the WaterColor Markers  and also the Amy Tangerine watercolor set to fill in the feathers. The colors are beyond perfect. I definitely need some practice with the markers, but for a first try I'm really pleased with the results.

You can see more of the stitching in these detail  photos.  I like how the stitching acts as a border for the paint. Like I said, I like bright colors. This is pretty much how I envisioned it in my head.

You can find this and so many incredible cut files in The Cut Shoppe.  We love to see what you make! Share with us in our Facebook group. Thanks for stopping by today. See you again next time.

I'll go anywhere with you

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO to share using the Going My Way file and the On Our Way collection from Fancy Pants Designs.  For some reason I always find boy LO's harder than girl LO's.  Whenever I get stuck I just find a good cut file and I get a LO done in no time!

I also used some mixed media behind the cut file just to make it stand out more on the white background.

Funny how a simple cut file can create a whole background for your LO!

Over the rainbow together | Sasha Biyanova

Hello, everyone!

It's Sasha here with my new layout using two cut files.

First of all I used Over the rainbow cut file. It's very spring, but I used it for winter photo))

I added pattern paper on the back of the cutted pieces and then not so many embellishments)

And I decided to use Tall Type Alpha to make my own title.

And put the same paper behind the letters.

Thank you for stopping by!
Happy crafting!

Colorful | Tarrah McLean

Hi Cut Shoppe friends!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a colorful and bright layout using one of the brand new cut file sets now in The Cut Shoppe store!

The Lucky Stars cut file below is a very versatile one to use for all kinds of different themed projects! You could also try cutting this out and then using the positive stars/pieces to create a fun look.
Lucky Stars

I cut The Lucky Stars cut file out from white textured cardstock and then backed the cut file with one of the super colorful papers from the Fancy Free collection by Paige Evans. I love how all the stars have different colors and I did not have to back every single star with a different paper!!! The paper I chose did all the hard work for me!

I kept the embellishing fairly simple so the photo and the stars could be featured the most! I chose a chipboard title for underneath the photo that went perfectly with the layout. I layered one of the tags from the Fancy Free collection underneath my photo and also added one of the wood tabs above the photo. I like how these embellishments draw some colour in to the photo.

The puffy stickers in this collection are also really cute, I added one of the stars and some of the crosses around the page. I tried to create a tone on tone look with the crosses. I love the cute buttons in this collection so I added one of the aqua ones to the right of my photo.

Make sure to check out The Cut Shoppe store for all the gorgeous cut file designs! There are so many gorgeous ones you definitely need in your life!

Happy creating!

I cut the file out of some white American Crafts cardstock and backed it with some papers from Rosie's Studio Arabesue Collection!

I added a lot of splatters to my background using some Tim Holtz Distress Ink and some Black Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
I embellished with die cuts and puffy stickers from Rosie's Studio along with an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.
I love this photo that was taken on my younger brothers wedding day. I am the only girl with one older brother and two younger. I was very pregnant in this photo but we had a great time..swollen ankles and all!

Floral Wreath Spring Inspiration | Amanda Baldwin

Hi TCS Friends!

Amanda here, sharing a super pretty Spring layout with the gorgeous new Floral Wreath cut file!
Teamed with the beautiful and bright Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection, this layout is a floral dream!
Here's what I created,
"Happy Times"

Oh isn't this gor-jus?!!
The new Floral Wreath is simply stunning!
I have cut the wreath in white cardstock, and backed it with two of the Happiness 6 x 8" Paper Pad papers.
Here's a better look at the Floral Wreath......

LOVE!!!!! Absolute floral perfection!

Here's a closer view of my layout.....

To create soft dimension & interest to my wreath, I fold some of the flower petals upwards. I also embellish some of the flower centers with fussy cut butterflies, die cuts, sequins and even a flair button!

So very pretty! The sequins are the 'Dragon Tales' mix from Spiegelmom Scraps, and they add just the right amount of sparkle to this girly page!

So my photo isn't lost among all those bright & beautiful florals, I print it in black & white, and also mount it with a die cut frame. Perfect!

I layer my title, happy times, over the wreath too!

And for finishing touches, I surround the Floral Wreath with hearts and more of those gorgeous sequins!
And there you have it!
Spring perfection!

I hope you feel inspired to use this cut file in your creating!

Thanks so much for visiting,
