Floral Wreath Spring Inspiration | Amanda Baldwin

Hi TCS Friends!

Amanda here, sharing a super pretty Spring layout with the gorgeous new Floral Wreath cut file!
Teamed with the beautiful and bright Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection, this layout is a floral dream!
Here's what I created,
"Happy Times"

Oh isn't this gor-jus?!!
The new Floral Wreath is simply stunning!
I have cut the wreath in white cardstock, and backed it with two of the Happiness 6 x 8" Paper Pad papers.
Here's a better look at the Floral Wreath......

LOVE!!!!! Absolute floral perfection!

Here's a closer view of my layout.....

To create soft dimension & interest to my wreath, I fold some of the flower petals upwards. I also embellish some of the flower centers with fussy cut butterflies, die cuts, sequins and even a flair button!

So very pretty! The sequins are the 'Dragon Tales' mix from Spiegelmom Scraps, and they add just the right amount of sparkle to this girly page!

So my photo isn't lost among all those bright & beautiful florals, I print it in black & white, and also mount it with a die cut frame. Perfect!

I layer my title, happy times, over the wreath too!

And for finishing touches, I surround the Floral Wreath with hearts and more of those gorgeous sequins!
And there you have it!
Spring perfection!

I hope you feel inspired to use this cut file in your creating!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Merry Christmas Star | Amanda Baldwin

Hi Friends!

Amanda here, & boy oh boy am I getting excited for Christmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year! I just love spreading the Christmas cheer!
For today's layout I wanted to create something fun 'n' magical, & The Christmas Star cut file was the perfect choice!

Here's my layout, "Merry"

Isn't this magical?!!
I have been inspired by visions of sugarplums and used all the pink, glitter & sparkles!
That giant sequin shaker star is just stunning! And I just adore the super glittery Merry title!
There's no denying that the Christmas Star digital cut file is all kinds of awesome!
It looks like this....

Wow! What an amazing file with SO many possibilities!
You can get this fabulous cut file from The Cut Shoppe HERE.

For today's layout, I simply enlarged the Merry star to 8 inches wide and cut it out in white Bazzill cardstock. I created a 'pocket' by backing the star with a layer of pattern paper & vellum. Before I sealed off the pocket, I filled it with sparkly sequins. To add extra sparkle and interest, I glued more sequins over the top of the vellum, and then dressed the title in pink glitter paste. I just loved how this turned out! So festive & fun!
Here's a closer look for you....

To enhance the magical feel of this layout, I created a whimsical, cotton candy style background with Shimmerz Paints Vibez: Jeni Be Bleu, Vibez: Sweet Heart, Coloringz: Oh Say Can U Sea? & Spritz: Cotton Candy. This mixed media base really makes the Merry star stand out. For added 'pop' factor, I mount the Merry star on thickened foam tape. So effective!

On closer view, you'll also spot that I embellish the Merry star with a few stickers, and some cotton floss threads! Very pretty details!

Just look at that glitter title! So.much.sparkle!!!
The Christmas Star cut file is just a stunning addition to any Festive project!

Aren't they adorable?! Such a Merry Christmas moment!

With only 3 days til Santa comes, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a safe and very Merry Christmas!
And a Happy New Year!

Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Be a Pineapple

Hello everyone, Julie back with you today & let me start by wishing you all a very happy easter, hope you’re all having a great day & eating lots of chocolate eggs. My layout I’m sharing with you today is using The Prickly Pineapple, The Write On Alpha & The Kitschy Cursive cut files

I found this quote on pinterest & just knew it would suit my eldest daughter . I arranged the text down the right had side of a 12x12 piece of paper & cut it out on my silhouette, then using different shades of pink, orange & yellow I coloured a piece of watercolour paper, with gelatos, to back the cut file.

I cut two large pineapples & backed them with some patterned paper & added gold sequins in each box, to add sparkle. I layered my two photos & all my ephemera, in a vertical line, down the left hand side of the page, adding lots of pineapples, 9 last count, gold hearts, arrows & enamel dots. A few splatters of mist & the page was finished.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my page today & I’ll see you very soon xoxo

Elf on the Shelf

Hi everyone, Julie back with you again today sharing a Christmas layout made with one of the new files in the store The Favorite Things cut file.

As you can see this cut file has many cuts on it but I choose to use just the elf one. My children are older now & our elf is just a Christmas decoration but I love the concept of this tradition, an elf keeping an eye on things & reporting back to Santa. I deleted all the other cuts & super sized the elf one, cutting it in a woodgrain paper. I then added fax stitching around it with a white pen. On the right hand side of the opening I made a vellum pocket & added a few sequins. I layered a bunch of papers behind the photo & stuck it all down under the word Elf. I added a bit of gold texture paste & stencilled some red dots to the background & to finish off the page I added a couple of flair badges, some ephemera & a lovely red tassel.

Thanks for joining me today & I’ll be back nearer Christmas, xoxo

Fall Days Layout

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's Lee-Anne here and today I am sharing my layout at The Cut Shoppe and now that it is the beginning of Fall, I thought I would create a Fall layout of this handsome little cutie who is my daughter's nephew.

I used the Free Falling Cut Files to create the title of my layout, the leaves and the trees behind the journaling tag.  I love all the texture these cut files give the layout.  I also used some stickers and patterned paper from the Indian Summer Collection by We R Memory Keepers and flair from A Flair For Buttons.  To add a little more depth to the background paper, I used several stencils and some distress inks to give more interest.  Below are a few closeups…

Here is the cut file I used from The Cut Shoppe

I hope you are inspired with my Fall layout.  Thanks for stopping by and check out all the amazing digital cut files in The Cut Shoppe here.
