Wild at Heart with Joanna Bandelin

Hello friends, Joanna Bandelin here sharing a fun scrapbook page of my little girl.
I used the lovely Floral Wreath cut file. I've been dying to work with this wreath since it was released a few months ago. I started by cutting it out nice and big to fill the page, then backed each flower with some pattern papers from the Wild Heart collection by Crate Paper.

I had few things from the Wild Heart collection to embellish my page with. I created a cluster of stickers, flowers, and paper clip leaves right under my photo.

I created two more clusters to the left and right of the photo to create a "triangle". I love how my daughter looks like she is looking at the pink birdie sticker off to the right.

I used some sticky foam to pop under the floral wreath for lots of dimension.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week!

girl power | orange gearle

Hi! Orange Gearle here with a layout using the Floral Wreath cut file and some pretty papers by Paige Taylor Evans. Here is a look at my layout!

Here is the file that I used:

When I cut the file, I cut the full wreath, but I also cut and pasted a few extra flowers so that I could have a few single flowers to use as embellishments!

I backed the cut file and the extra flowers with pink, blue, and orange papers. Then I added some more flowers from the floral die cuts.

I used a couple of butterfly punches to add some butterflies to my layout as well.

I did a little mixed media behind the wreath. I first put some gesso on my card stock, then I added some Shimmerz paints over the top for a watercolor look.

I really like how this one turned out, this was such a fun file to work with! I also made a process video if that's something that suits your fancy!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you again soon! XO o.g.

Floral Wreath Spring Inspiration | Amanda Baldwin

Hi TCS Friends!

Amanda here, sharing a super pretty Spring layout with the gorgeous new Floral Wreath cut file!
Teamed with the beautiful and bright Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection, this layout is a floral dream!
Here's what I created,
"Happy Times"

Oh isn't this gor-jus?!!
The new Floral Wreath is simply stunning!
I have cut the wreath in white cardstock, and backed it with two of the Happiness 6 x 8" Paper Pad papers.
Here's a better look at the Floral Wreath......

LOVE!!!!! Absolute floral perfection!

Here's a closer view of my layout.....

To create soft dimension & interest to my wreath, I fold some of the flower petals upwards. I also embellish some of the flower centers with fussy cut butterflies, die cuts, sequins and even a flair button!

So very pretty! The sequins are the 'Dragon Tales' mix from Spiegelmom Scraps, and they add just the right amount of sparkle to this girly page!

So my photo isn't lost among all those bright & beautiful florals, I print it in black & white, and also mount it with a die cut frame. Perfect!

I layer my title, happy times, over the wreath too!

And for finishing touches, I surround the Floral Wreath with hearts and more of those gorgeous sequins!
And there you have it!
Spring perfection!

I hope you feel inspired to use this cut file in your creating!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Spring | Erica Thompson

Hello! Erica here with you today to share a spring layout using the new Floral Wreath cut file!
I started with some American Crafts smooth white cardstock to cut my file. I pulled out the Photoplay Paper Bloom collection and started to back the Floral Wreath. I love the pretty colors in this collection.

I tried to use a pattern paper for my background but in the end I used a white piece of cardstock...shocking I know! I added foam behind the cut file to pop it up and give it a little dimension. I added some embellishments to the center of all the flowers. I used enamel dots and stickers from the collection and some die cuts from my stash.
I also used a couple new epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio that went well with the Bloom collection. Here is a look at my final layout! You can check out my YouTube channel for the process video HERE!

Make sure to stop by The Cut Shoppe and check out the new cut files released March 7th!

New Cut Files | Stay Sweet

Hey there friends!  It's time to share our new Cut Files today, and there are some awesome designs to choose from.  I used the Floral Wreath Cut File on my layout.  Flowers are always fun to use, on any type of layout.  And with Spring quickly approaching, this would be a great Cut File to use with some of your Spring photos!

https://thecutshoppe.com.co/collections/new-designs/products/floral-wreath

I wanted to use this one a little bit differently, so I cut it twice from White card stock.  Then I backed half of each one, using the new American Crafts Stay Sweet collection by Amy Tan.  The 6x8 paper pad from the collection, worked perfectly for backing each of the flowers.  Once I had all of my flowers backed, I placed each one on the background paper, going off the page and trimmed away the excess from the edge.  Then, I machine stitched through the center of each cut file.

I used the left over pieces from the Cut File to create some extra flower embellishments.  I just trimmed individual flowers away from the Cut File and backed them with different patterned papers.  I layered those flowers over the Cut File and placed foam behind them, to add some dimension to the layout.

I changed my photo to black & white to give it a contrast from all of the colors from the Stay Sweet collection.  Then I grabbed a mix of Ephemera, Foam Thickers, and Stickers to embellish the layout.  I kept all of the embellishing in the center of the layout, where the two Cut Files came together.

I've got a NEW Process Video showing how everything on my layout came together!  You can check it out here, and if you're not a subscriber to my channel, I would love for you to stop by and become a NEW Subscriber!!

We also have three other fun designs in The Cut Shoppe store, so make sure you head over to check them out!
