Floral Wreath Spring Inspiration | Amanda Baldwin

Hi TCS Friends!

Amanda here, sharing a super pretty Spring layout with the gorgeous new Floral Wreath cut file!
Teamed with the beautiful and bright Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection, this layout is a floral dream!
Here's what I created,
"Happy Times"

Oh isn't this gor-jus?!!
The new Floral Wreath is simply stunning!
I have cut the wreath in white cardstock, and backed it with two of the Happiness 6 x 8" Paper Pad papers.
Here's a better look at the Floral Wreath......

LOVE!!!!! Absolute floral perfection!

Here's a closer view of my layout.....

To create soft dimension & interest to my wreath, I fold some of the flower petals upwards. I also embellish some of the flower centers with fussy cut butterflies, die cuts, sequins and even a flair button!

So very pretty! The sequins are the 'Dragon Tales' mix from Spiegelmom Scraps, and they add just the right amount of sparkle to this girly page!

So my photo isn't lost among all those bright & beautiful florals, I print it in black & white, and also mount it with a die cut frame. Perfect!

I layer my title, happy times, over the wreath too!

And for finishing touches, I surround the Floral Wreath with hearts and more of those gorgeous sequins!
And there you have it!
Spring perfection!

I hope you feel inspired to use this cut file in your creating!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Spring Blooms Layout | Elsie Robinson

Hey friends, it's Elsie here and I think I've officially ditched the Winter/Christmas layouts now it's a new year!

Whilst I've loved making Christmas projects, I'm definitely ready to start creating something different. So for this layout I was inspired by some of the beautiful floral cut files that are on offer in the Cut Shoppe store.

I started by super-sizing the rose cut files from the Blooming Bouquets and Spring Fling sets and I cut them from white cardstock. However, I wanted the stems to be green, so instead of manipulating the cut file and cutting the flowers and stems from different papers, I painted the stems green with some watercolours.

I didn't saturate the paper with a lot of water so they didn't warp at all and I love how much quicker this was so do than having to edit and run different papers through my cameo!

For my title, I again super-sized the 'Bloom' from the Spring Fling set and cut it from white cardstock. I stitched around the title with some white thread, to add a bit more definition.

I backed the large roses with pink and purple papers, the title with a yellow pattern and then I cut some more flowers from the Funky Florals and Flower Delivery sets and backed them with blue patterns.

With this being quite a busy page, having each of these elements have their own base colour meant they all didn't blend together and it really made these gorgeous files the stars of the page!

By raising the 'bloom' title on some small foam squares from the patterned paper, I was able to tuck the rose stems and some ephemera pieces into the letters, which helped integrate such a large title into my scene!

I love how this turned out and I think that incorporating a large title in this way, is something I'll definitely be doing again in the future!

Make sure you click on the images below to grab these cut files for yourself!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mixed Media Wall Art

Hello everyone! It's Zinia here to share with you a page I created using a lovely cut file from The Cut Shoppe store.

My initial idea was to create a mixed media scrapbook layout but the mixed media part got a bit out of control and I loved it so much that I didn't want to add more things. So I decided to use it as a wall art piece and use it to decorate my craft room.

I cut out a wreath from the Spring Fling cut files set and stuck it on a piece of white cardstock using foam adhesive to give it more dimension. Then I started playing around with all sorts of paints to create an abstract background.

I started with my neutral and dark colors and spread them around the page. I also used some texture paste to add a few more details.

Then I brought in my bright colors and added fun splatters, drips and scribbles. I kept adding my mixed media paints following the shape of the wreath to accentuate it.

I really hope you enjoyed this and got inspired to use your cut files in more creative and artistic ways.

Limited Edition

Hi! Irit here with a new layout I created using some fun cut files from The Cut Shoppe. Here's my finished project-

I used these cut files-

In the Silhouette software I outlined my title, to create another layer that will help it pop more.

I love using wreathes on my layout, like the one from the Spring Fling cut file, they add so much, not a lot more is needed to create a beautiful simple layout.

Supplies: Papers- American Crafts cardstock; Felicity Jane patterned paper, labels, flair and puffy stickers. Shimelle & Dear Lizzy puffy stickers.

Thanks for visiting and check out the Cut Shoppe for these cut files and many more!

Happy Colorful You

Who needs some color for this winter day?  Wendy here today to share a colorful layout with you to drive away those winter blues.  One of the things I love about FL is how blue the sky is, and these papers from Pink Paislee with the fun cloud cut files make me think FL!

I love pulling from my cut file drawer, I create and then I go find the perfect little touches that add just the right finishing touch to my pages.  For this layout I used the Go Fly a Kite cut file and Spring Fling cut file.

Clouds are my favorite item (aside from doilies) to add into a page, as they build a scene and are usually light enough not to make the layout feel unbalanced.

I don't usually design scrapbook pages on a slant, but I loved fitting my items into the Pink Paislee paper, but to ground myself and not give me a conniption, I decided to use the flowers from the Spring Fling files to straighten my layout and to draw your eyes from the clouds in the sky to the flowers on the ground and build a scene for my pictures.

You can find these fun cut files and many more in the Cut Shoppe Etsy!

Adorable

Hi! Irit here and I'm so happy to share the layout I created using some of the new and fantastic cut files in the Cut Shoppe! They were a perfect match to my children themed layout, using Crate Paper's new collection called Little You.

Here are the cut files I used-

I love the open letter alpha. It's my new favorite alpha, and it looks amazing when you overlap the letters and weld them in the silhouette software. I spelled the word adorable and backed it with patterned paper.

Again I used the I'll Fly Away file as a stencil and added some butterflies to my background with modeling paste.

I also backed the flowers from the Spring Fling file and used them as embellishments on my layout.
Finishing touches were pretty embellishments from Crate Paper Little You collection.
Check out the process video to see how this came together!

Thanks for visiting! I hope I inspired you to play with the fun new cut files! Have a lovely day!

I used the new Spring Fling cut file with the Spring Flair set from A Flair for Buttons.  I had the idea of creating a large title with the word "Bloom" from the cut file set, and backing it with flowers punched from patterned papers from the Maggie Holmes Shine collection.  I used two of the Flair Buttons in the center of the "Os" and added one next to my photo.
