Over the rainbow together | Sasha Biyanova

Hello, everyone!

It's Sasha here with my new layout using two cut files.

First of all I used Over the rainbow cut file. It's very spring, but I used it for winter photo))

I added pattern paper on the back of the cutted pieces and then not so many embellishments)

And I decided to use Tall Type Alpha to make my own title.

And put the same paper behind the letters.

Thank you for stopping by!
Happy crafting!

There are some amazing alphas and phrase cut files in the Cut Shoppe, and I love using them to create a great title-

 Here are some favorites-

I love getting my mixed media on with my cut files! Cutting pretty designs from white cardstock is such an easy way of using color and having fun with great results.

Here are some great options for cut files that work well with mixed media-

I loved being on The Cut Shoppe team and will continue using these awesome cut files. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Guest Designer | Niki Rowland

We are so excited to have a new Guest Designer with us today!  Welcome Niki Rowland!  Niki has created a beautiful layout to share with us, using the Tall Type Alpha cut file and the Everyday Essentials cut file!  Let's get to know Niki, before we take a look at what she created!

http://www.beingscrappy.co.uk/

Hi Lovelies, my name is Niki, I'm 33 years old and live just outside London in the UK with my husband and two gorgeous young children, who spend most of their time driving me insane and sabotaging my crafting efforts, but they give me something to scrap about so I don't mind :)  I'm a SAHM, full time scrapbooker and part-time childminder. I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember and have been in love with scrapbooking since about 2001. I love nothing more than retreating to my craft room and playing with pretty paper, yes, I am a pretty paper addict.

I love to create bright, fun and detailed layouts about my life right now and my children. I'm a 'throw it all on' kind of girl, because I have so much stash that I would drown in it if I didn't pile it high on my layouts. I love to try new things and techniques and will give anything a go. You can find more of my layouts on my Instagram, and you'll also find me designing for Hey Little Magpie and Silhouette UK.

Thanks so much for joining us Niki!!  Let's take a look at Niki's beautiful layout!

How gorgeous is the Gold on Niki's title using the Tall Type Alpha!!  And the diagonal design using the ampersand from the Everyday Essentials cut file is so fun!

We loved having you with us Niki!!  You can find more of Niki's gorgeous work by visiting her Blog, Being Scrappy.

Heceta Head

Hello and goodbye. Today I bid you fond farewell. It's been a fabulous year creating with The Cut Shoppe files. I simply love them all and can't wait to see what is released in this next year.

I love going to the coast, it's my happy place. One of my favorite places to go is Heceta Head, with this pretty lighthouse and fantastic tide pools. It's in a protective little cove and just feels like home to me. The Land Ho file was just perfect for this shot of my husband and me next to the lighthouse. I even gave the scribble waves a try and they cut out perfectly! Tall Type always makes a statement and I love the beach house effect I was able to get using the wood, backed with distressed sea foam blue. The Kitschy Cursive was the perfect companion alpha. I few clouds from from Happy Clouds finished off the piece.

I hadn't meant to use so many files on my page, but with so many awesome files to be found in the shop, how can you stop at just one when there are a number of designs to help tell your story? Stop by today and find some inspiration!

See you around!

Hello Summer

Happy Saturday to everyone! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing a layout I created with some of the new awesome cut files from The Cut Shoppe!

I started with the 8.5 x 11 Chicken Wire background cut file in white card stock.  I knew it would be perfect for a boy themed layout!

The Tall Type Alpha has always been one of my favorites so I used it for a part of my title! I used two different patterns, as well as some foam Thickers I had in my stash!

To accent, I wanted to use some of the fun Summertime Circles so I cut two different patterns using the starburst circle.  I then layered embellishments from the collection I used over the top.

Thanks for looking! Check out The Cut Shoppe on Etsy to see these and many more fun files including printables! Have a great day!

Doctor Who

Hello there! Today I have a layout to share using the Tall Type alpha, and Geeked Out, which is probably my all time favorite cut file!! I am a HUGE Doctor Who fan, and I've had fun using this cut file in the past.

The TARDIS blue (that block of squares for those who aren't Doctor Who Fans) was a hard color to match, so I decided to create my own background. I added lots of stars because quite a bit of Doctor Who takes place in space. For my title, I used the Tall type alphas, and backed them with various blues. The cut files complimented this picture of my husband and I wearing our anniversary gift to each other--Doctor Who shirts!

That wraps it up for today, thank you for joining me!

Guest Designer | Helen Gullett

I am so excited to introduce you to today's Guest Designer, Helen Gullett!  Helen is a sweet scrapbooking friend, who creates gorgeous papercraft projects.  And I especially love her cards.  Helen has created two beautiful cards and a tag to share with us today, but let's get to know a little more about her, before we take a look at what she created.

http://helengullett.com/

I am an Indonesian who married to an amazing husband and we are blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. I am staying home with a pre-schooler and do some translation works from home as a part-time volunteer to couple organizations.

When I was Junior High, I love journaling with pictures since I was Junior High. And after we moved to Ohio, I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2008. And then I started making cards since 2010 and keep learning new techniques since then. So I am fairly new in this paper-crafting world and so thankful for online classes! I also make some DIY projects for gifts or for our home. These are fun things to do in my spare time.

One more thing I love to do is Bible Art Journaling as part of my devotion time. This is my second year doing it and love it!

Most of my projects is done with Silhouette Cameo! It is a gift from my husband 4 years ago and just love it ever since.

I share my life, journey and projects on my blog at www.helengullett.com.  Thank You so much for visiting and hope you like my projects I share at The Cut Shoppe blog!

We are so glad to have you Helen!  Now, let's take a look at what Helen created with several of the cut files from The Cut Shoppe!
