XOXO | Tarrah McLean

Hi creative friends,

It's Tarrah back with you and today I have a new love themed layout using the Love Ya cut file.

I cut the cut file design out of white textured cardstock and then backed the shadow parts with black cardstock. I then used a black pen to outline the outer edge and also the shadow pieces.

Love Ya

Going through my stash of bits and pieces of love collections I found I had lots of things with the XOXO on to add to my page. These were mostly from the Hello Love and Main Squeeze collections by Crate Paper.

I adhered the XOXO to some red cardstock using some craft foam underneath the cut file to give some height and dimension.

Over the top of the cut file, I layered lots of things like a pocket, some tags, a few stickers and some wood veneer hearts.

The fabric X and O are from my stash and I layered a heart puffy sticker and a gold glitter sticker. The flair button on the left of my page is also from my stash and it goes perfectly as it is a bicycle with hearts in the top basket!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to create a love themed layout and to check out all the gorgeous cut file designs in the shop!

Be My Valentine | Marsha Farris

Hey friends!  It's Marsha here today, and I'm back with another layout in my traveler's notebook.  I used the oh so fun Be My Valentine cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

Here's the layout I created:

Here's the Be My Valentine cut file:

For my project today, I used lots of January 2020 release products from Elle's Studio.  To begin the layout, I sized the cut file to fit in my traveler's notebook and cut it out on white cardstock.  I backed the words and heart with different patterned papers.  Next, I adhered the cut file to another patterned paper and added it to the traveler's notebook.  To embellish the page, I added some puffy heart stickers and a die cut heart.

For the other side of the layout, I layered a tag behind my photo.  I stamped a label and sentiment onto some patterned paper, trimmed it out, and added it to the top of the page.  I used some phrase stickers and a leatherette sticker to frame the photo.

I did a bit more stamping at the bottom of the page and added a puffy heart sticker.  To finish off the layout, I added a messy hand-drawn border around the edges of the spread.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out all of the fun new designs at The Cut Shoppe store.  I will see you again soon!

All the Feels | Marsha Farris

Hey friends!  Marsha here again today sharing a layout in my traveler's notebook.  I used the Working Title cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

Here's a look at the spread:

For my project today, I wanted to do a non-traditional Valentine-themed layout about two of my favorite things- coffee and coffee mugs.  I began by cutting out the cut file using white cardstock.  I backed the heart portion with a black and white grid paper.  I chose a patterned paper from my stash to use as the background for the left side of the spread.  Using my sewing machine, I did some messing stitching around the edges of the paper.  I love how this adds texture and interest to the spread!  Next, I adhered the cut file to the page and added a heart ephemera piece, attaching it with staples.

For the other side of the layout, I printed my photo and backed it with a black and white patterned paper.  I used a tag and some ephemera pieces to embellish around the photo.

I printed my journaling on the computer and added it to the page.  To finish off the spread, I added a stamped sentiment and some more machine stitching.

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Make sure you stop by The Cut Shoppe store and check out all of the fun cut files!

Today | Tarrah McLean

Hi Cut Shoppe friends!

It's Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a new layout using the gorgeous All Heart cut file

All Heart

I chose the Flourish collection by Maggie Holmes for this layout and decided to do a reverse design on this layout, so I cut the design out from the spotted paper and then took the hearts out and put them aside. I then washi taped the background like a template to white cardstock. I took each heart and added them back in to the design like a jigsaw puzzle, I used foam tape to pop them all up and then took away the template once they were all back in. I love how it looks!

I added some pretty embellishments to enhance the design of my layout, I love the gold accents on the embellishments, they really match the colour of the photo. I added a wood veneer title that I have had in my stash for ages and I love how that looks.

The All Heart cut file is one of my all time favourite designs from The Cut Shoppe store. There is also also a remix of the same file where you can back the hearts instead of having them solid. It's such a versatile design and takes the guess work out of deciding on a design sometimes!

Make sure to check out the store for all the awesome designs you can get! Don't forget once you have purchased the design they can be used over and over again and can be modified too!

Happy creating!

Magic Moments | Tarrah McLean

Hi Cut Shoppe friends!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you today to share a new layout with you using the gorgeous 'With Love' Freebie Friyay cut file. You can download this cut file for free at anytime here in the store.

The 'With Love' cut file is a great one to use up lots of scraps and bits and pieces. You can do this by backing each heart in a different paper. I firstly cut out the design with a pretty pinky coloured paper and then backed different papers behind the hearts. I love how it turned out!

With Love

Once I had all the hearts backed with the papers, I added foam tape to the underside of each heart, I wanted them to have dimension and create that shadow on the page.
Before I adhered the heart cut file down, I got out my watercolour paints and drew a rough heart shape in both pink and blue. I then added a few splats of mist in various colours around the watercolour hearts too.

Once it was dry I went ahead and stuck down the heart cut file. I tried to position it so that you could see the watercoloured hearts underneath. I layered a few embellishments under my photo and layered the title 'Magic Moments' over the top of the bottom of the photo.

I also added a few embellishments on top of the hearts to create some added interest and I love how they look. I added some wooden pieces, some chipboard stickers and some die-cuts. The glitter pieces included in the Turn the Page collection by Paige Evans were the perfect touch to add a pop of spark in a few places too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to check out the Cut Shoppe store, there are so many amazing designs in store to suit any theme project!

School Carnival | Kelly Janes

Hi friends! Kelly here with a new 12x12 layout using the All Heart Cut File!

I started in Cricut Design Space by sizing the cut file to 11.5 inches. I then "sliced" out the two inner circles of hearts. I then converted the remaining hearts to "write" so the hearts would be drawn on my 12x12 white cardstock.

After the hearts were drawn, I used a paper piercer and poked holes along the hearts. I then took embroidery floss in multiple colors and stitched the hearts in a string art fashion. After the hearts were stitched, I added my photo in the center of the layout. I added my title using black alpha stickers and I love the stark contrast between the rainbow hearts and the black letters.

I wanted the hearts to be the focus of the layout so I added very few embellishments. I felt all the layout needed was a couple flower die cuts and stickers next to the photo.

Thank you so much for joining me today and remember to visit The Cut Shoppe Store to check out all of the cut files!

That Tic Tac XO digital cut file is all kinds of awesomeness!
Here's a closer look at it...

Such a fun design - LOVE!!!
Grab the Tic Tac XO cut file from The Cut Shoppe HERE.
I've cut it with Main Squeeze pattern paper, Spark, and machine stitched the grid lines onto the white cardstock base.

I just adore the tiny hearts pattern paper! Perfect for this larger designed background cut file!
I 'fill' the empty squares of the design with chipboard & ephemera pieces,

and layer my photo onto the heart center.

Lots of pretty heart embellishments adorn my central photo! You'll spy chipboard, glitter, stickers, die cut ephemera and even puffy sticker hearts embellishing this cluster. Love it!

SO super adorable!
Those smiley heart faces are perfect for my happy two, & are just the cutest!

Happy | Marsha Farris

Hey TCS friends!  Marsha here with you again today sharing a layout in my traveler's notebook.  I used the new Nothin' But Love Traveler's Notebook Decorative Page cut file that just released at The Cut Shoppe.

There are a variety of Traveler's Notebook Decorative Page cut files available at The Cut Shoppe.  They make creating in a traveler's notebook so quick and easy, because they are sized to fit perfectly on a TN page!

To create this layout, I used mainly the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection.  I chose to cut out the cut file using white cardstock so the cut file would stand out from the pink ombre paper.  I absolutely adore the hearts on this cut file!
I layered some diecuts from the ephemera pack at the top and bottom of the page to add interest to these areas.  I also added some stamping and machine stitching.

For the other side of the layout, I used another patterned paper from the Midnight collection as the background.  Next, I added my photo and layered a frame and more ephemera pieces.  I did some journaling on a label, and added some stamping and machine stitching to finish off the spread.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you will check out this cut file and the other new files available at The Cut Shoppe.
