Hi everyone! I'm here to share a layout with you today and some exciting news, about new items available in The Cut Shoppe...PRINTABLES! If you are a Pocket Scrapbooker or just love the look of Printables on your layouts and cards, then you will definitely want to stop by the store. The Printable downloads include PNG and PDF formats. All you have to do, is print, cut and create!
And since it's new Cut File day in the Shop, I have a layout today using one of the cut file sets and one of the Printables! My layout is also based on the Sketch for our August Cut It Out Challenge! Don't forget to play along for the chance to win a $10 Shopping Spree to the Shop! You can find all of the details HERE!
I switched my photo and title area, so the arrow on the Somewhere Out There Printable, would point to my photo. And I used the #Candid Polaroid frame from the #Foto Frames cut file, around my photo. The Tricky Triangles background cut file, worked perfectly for the Triangle shapes that are in the background of the Sketch. I traced one of the Triangle shapes from the full background cut file and then resized it to make several different cuts on various patterned papers.
Here's a look at the cut files and Printable, that I used on my layout. These are all currently available in The Cut Shoppe!
You can also visit our Facebook page today, for a giveaway of the new Printables that are available in the Shop!
And we've got some fun things coming up over the next few months, so make sure you stay up to date by visiting the Blog!

Destination Disney
Hi everyone, Michelle here today with a Disney LO! It's been almost 2 years since we went to Disney and this is the first photo I have scrapped of our trip!
I used the On the road cut file for this LO. I separated the word from the map and made it smaller because I didn't want to cover it up with my photo.
Here are a few close ups:

Guest Designer Jen Chapin
Each month, we will have a Guest Designer sharing a layout, using cut files from The Cut Shoppe! I am excited to introduce our first Guest Designer, Jen Chapin! Jen has a great style and does an amazing job with cut files on her layouts! Let's get to know Jen and check out what she created!
Hi! My name is Jennifer Chapin. I am a 30-something wife, mom and nurse living in the Midwest. By day I work at a hospital about 45 minutes from where we live. At night I am in my scraproom after the kids are in bed. I am currently designing for Bella Blvd, Elle's Studio, Citrus Twist Kits and Paper Issues. I am so grateful for this hobby and all the friendships it has brought me. In addition to scrapbooking, I love cooking and trying new recipes, thrifting and antique shopping (let's not talk about how many typewriters I have) and reading magazines. I can't be without my coffee, Diet Pepsi or iPhone. Thanks to The Cut Shoppe for having me!
I am super excited to be guest designing for The Cut Shoppe! Ashley's designs are fabulous and super easy to work with. For my layout I chose the It Adds Up background cut file. I used kraft cardstock and mounted it with foam tape on a white background. I used a variety of patterned papers to back the negative spaces.
Such a fabulous design and use of the It Adds Up background cut file! Thank you for sharing your amazing work with us Jen!

Sweet Dreams
Hello everyone, I'm excited to share a new layout with you today! I just loved these pictures of my pup sleeping in my arms and couldn't wait to scrap them! I thought the The Counting Stars and Sweet Dreams cut files would be perfect for this layout. I used the Counting Stars layout as the background and the Sweet Dreams as the title. I added several star embellishments to further accent the background!
I wanted the background to remain the focus, so I only did minimal embellishing. A few clips, a piece of flair, and splatters of mist was all it needed!
I love how versatile The Counting Stars file is, and I can't wait to use it again! Thanks for letting me share, be sure to stop by the shop to get these fun files!

Good Times
I love getting mileage out of my die cuts by coming up with different ways to use them! Today I used the Let's Talk Summer cut file and focused on the "good times" title.
I enlarged the file and made it the focal point of my page by placing my photos behind the O's. I backed the rest of the letters in a patterned paper that coordinated with my background of paper strips.
To help the title stand out a little bit more, I backed the title on vellum. So easy and fun!
Since the title provided quite a bit of visual impact, I minimally embellished a few of the letters. I can't wait to try this technique again with another cut file! Thanks for letting me share!
