Happy Hanukkah

Hey there and good morning! It's Devra here today sharing a fun holiday project. I used Happy Hanukkah portion of the FriYay Freebie Celebrate the Season cut file. 

This file is so fun I wanted it to shine on its own. I cut it pretty large using as both a title and embellishment. Cutting it in darker paper then backing it in lighter paper really makes it stand out! Lastly, I used pop dots so it really looks like its jumping off the page. I love it!

 Hello, everyone!

Today Sasha here with my new holiday layout! I printed old photos of my dauther to create layout with this beautiful free cut file!

Actually with 2 beautiful cut files)) I use "Sparcle and Shine" cut file for the background and "Celebrate the season" cut file for the title.

There wasn't place for all title but I cut all the letters, so I used "Happy days" at the top of layout and thought that's all))) But I love how this Ho-ho-ho title looks near the presents)))

 So I decided to use that letters too and handwritten other part "ho-ho-ho". This layout about morning of  New Year! We celebrate New Year and our daugther don't sleep part of the holiday night with us)))

Happy Holidays | Erica Thompson

Hello everyone! Erica here with you today to share a holiday layout using two cut files from The Cut Shoppe..Snow Day & Celebrate the Season!

I knew I wanted a white background as usual but this time I decided to add a little interest to the page by cutting the Snow Day background and just backing it with white cardstock. Just adds a little something to the background. I saved the snowflake pieces I punched out of the background to use on other projects.  I pulled out my holiday Clique Kit, some Simple Stories and some new epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio!

I backed the Happy Holidays cut file with 6x6 papers from the Clique Kits holiday kit. This kit featured the Echo Park Celebrate Christmas collection.

I popped up the file with some Therm O Web foam squares to add some dimension to my layout. The photo is from a few years ago and the last one I have of my oldest with Santa! I am not sure if I can talk him into just one more Santa photo for me so I can have at least one photo of all 6 kids with Santa!

Once the cut file was in place I added some layers behind my photo and adhered down with some foam squares. I began to embellish around the layout using cardstock stickers, puffy stickers and some epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.

Very Merry Freebie Friyay - Celebrate the Season

We're kicking off our month long Very Merry Freebie Friyay gift to you!  All of our cut files this month are FREE, so make sure you visit the Blog every Friday to download the new design.  You can click on the image of the cut file to go to the download page.  Today, we have the Celebrate the Season cut file.  There are some fun phrases to add to your holiday projects and I've got a layout to share with you, using the Happy Holidays sentiment.

I decided to use the December Days collection from Pinkfresh Studio for my layout.  I wanted my layout to have a graphic look, so I used a White card stock background, to make the colors from the collection really pop.  I cut the Happy Holidays phrase in the bottom corner of the card stock and then backed each letter with a patterned paper from the December Days 6x6 paper pad.

I wanted to have layered, scattered stars above the title so I cut a variety of sizes on my Cameo and randomly placed them on the background.  Since I had a star theme going on, I thought it would be fun to have a star shaped photo too.  You can see how I created my shaped photo in the Process Video below.


  
I finished the layout with a mix of embellishments from the December Days collection.  I filled in some of the open spaces between the stars with different products to create texture and dimension.
