Make a Splash

Hi everyone, Amy here to share a layout I created using the Make a Splash cut file.

Here's how I used it on my layout.

I cut it out on white card stock, then "smoshed" the mist color on it, for the water color look.

Using the same technique, I added color to the wave cut out, then tucked it in under my photo block.

Ice Skating Fun

Hey there, Amy here to share a layout I created using one of the fabulous cut files you can grab for free by signing up for our newsletter.  If you haven't noticed, I really love using the free cut files Ashley creates for us.  This one was perfect since I had so many photos I wanted to include on this layout.

Here are a few closeups.  I put my pictures on the solid circles and used the open circles for patterned paper and different embellishments from the February Paper Camellia kit.

If you haven't already, make sure you sign up for the newsletter here (or visit the link at the top of the blog).  I promise you'll LOVE all the free cut files Ashley creates for it.

When I saw the Words to Live By cut files, I knew they'd be perfect for this layout about Georgia and her love of soccer.  Here's what I created using the cut files and the November kit from Paper Camellia.

Here are some close ups.  I cut them out on watercolor paper and used a gold gelato to color them.

I cut the "Be Awesome" into a banner shape.

Hip to be Square

I just love this cut file, and I knew it would be perfect for my page with a lot of pictures from my recent trip to the Bahamas.   I grabbed my September kit from Paper Camellia and got to work. Here is the page I created.  I simply trimmed out some of the squares and added my photos in and backed a few of the squares with some patterned paper.

Here are some closeups.

My sweet 15 year old

Hey everyone, Amy here to share a layout I created using the spin cycle cut file. I am pretty sure it's my new favorite cut file EVER! I love that it allows me to use plenty of fun patterns and embellishments on my page. I was able to use up most of my September kit from Paper Camellia along with some fun bits from Chic Tags new Storyteller line.

Here's some closeups.

Make sure you check out all the fun cut files in the shop that Ashley has created.

A layout and a card

Hi everyone, I am so happy to be here today to share a layout and card that I created using some files from The Cut Shoppe.  This first layout uses the Beachy Keen cut file.  I used it as part of my title on my layout.

Here's a closeup of the title.  I outlined the word beach to make it pop a bit.

I also use the Pie Hearts cut file to create a quick card.
