Sun Shiny Day | Marsha Farris

Hey friends!  Marsha here today sharing a layout in my traveler's notebook.  I used the fun Sun Shiny Day cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

For my spread, I printed a large photo (4.25 x 8.25) of my son taken last year at the beach on Spring Break.  I always love the look of a large photo in my TN!

I cut out the cut file using white cardstock and used the offset feature in Silhouette Studio to cut the patterned paper to back the file.  I love how this turned out, and it made backing the cut file so much easier!

Next, I used some die cuts and stickers from the Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection to embellish the page.

I chose a couple of stamp sets from Kellie Stamps to add some stamped sentiments.  To finish off the layout, I added some machine stitching and staples to a few areas around the page.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Sun Shiny Day | Erica Thompson

Do you have a favorite summer collection? Well I think the new Simple Stories Sunshine & Blue Skies is my new favorite summer collection. The colors are gorgeous and I thought this collection was the perfect match with the Sun Shiny Day cut file.
I cut the file out on some white cardstock and used white as my background. I pulled out some ink colors from Cathereine Pooler Designs that I think are a perfect match. Samba, Coral Cabana, Limoncello, Suede Shoes, Mardi Gras. I used these colors to create splatters all over my background matching the colors with the backed cut file.

I love all the color peeking out behind the file and it reminds me of colorful confetti. All I did was take the ink pad and press it to an acrylic block. I used my water bottle to spray some water onto the block and mixed it together with a small paint brush. Then I just flicked the color onto the water cardstock.

I popped the cut file up with some foam adhesive for dimension and tucked in some of the Sunshine & Blue Skies die cut flowers around the cut file. I also added an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. Here is a look at my completed layout!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my layout. If you haven't got your hands on this cut file yet you really need to! You can find it HERE in The Cut Shoppe

Sun Shiny Day with Joanna Bandelin

Hello friends, Joanna Bandelin here. I've got a bright sunny layout for you, perfect inspiration to get you in the summer mood.

The first thing I did was cut the Sun Shiny Day cut file out really big. I love big titles and this one is perfect! I chose a bold stripe pattern paper to back the cut file. Since the background is busy I kept the embellishments minimal.

Cutting out the cut file this large makes it super, super easy to back. This whole page came together quickly.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Sun shiny day | Sasha Biyanova

Hey, everyone!

It's Sasha here with my new layout! I've decided to use the old stash and made the background from 6x6 inch paper. It's just about one march walk!

I made this layout using two cut files: SUN SHINY DAY and FLOWR ARRANGEMENT

I didn't have any embellishments from this collection so cut flowers to add some sping mood) It was our first warm days!

And I really love big titles :) The day was sun and shiny and I couldn't miss this title)))) I put the same 6x6 pieces behind cutted letters and fussy cut them along the edge.

Hope, you were inspired! And don't forget to check The Cut Shoppe for new cut files! They are gorgeous)))

Happy crafting!
