You Rock

I'm loving all the fun circle cut files available in The Cut Shoppe! The All Heart is one of my all time favorites, but the new Star Spangled background is quickly becoming a staple for me too. I love how versatile it is, and I thought it would be especially perfect for this boy layout!

I had so much fun backing each of the stars. It was very therapeutic! I put on a movie and got to work. It took hardly any time at all! I kept the rest of the layout pretty simple, focusing mostly on the picture and the cut file. For my title, I used the You're a Gem cut file.

The two cut files make a great pair! I hope you feel inspired and that you have a great day!

Sparkle and Shine

Hi everyone, Danielle here with you this Friday! Between all the Holiday projects, I felt the need to step away from it and create something sparkly and shiny. The You're a Gem cut file set was the way to go to make a layout with this picture of my niece in front of the Castle in Disneyland Paris, wearing her princess dress.

I used the Shimelle collection and added washi tapes, sequins and stamps from Little.Miss.Evie.

Hey there! It's Heather Adams here with you today! This is my very first post here at The Cut Shoppe, and I'm SUPER excited to be here!

I have a layout to share today that I made with the "You're a Gem" set of cut files. I used the heart from this set.

I cut out the hearts in vellum, and then cut the patterned papers to back the hearts. I actually cut the hearts by hand, but you could totally manipulate the heart diecut and use your machine to do this for you! After I cut both sets of hearts, I handstitched them together by hand. Just a simple "x."

I played around with different designs to make with the hearts. Originally, I wanted to make a grid on my page. But once I laid it all out, I didn't like it. At ALL. So I switched it up and, after a few different layouts, here's what I came up with:
