Hippity Hop...

Hi everyone!

It's Tarrah back with you today to share a cute Easter themed layout I recently created using some well suited cut files in store now!
Being an Easter themed layout, I wanted to keep a pastel colour scheme throughout...I started by cutting the 12 x 12 Scalloping Circles cut from pale pink cardstock...
I used some of the pretty Elle's Studio 'Cienna' collection to help create this layout...
I cut the 'Tiny Type' alphabet letters from some grey
cardstock to make the title stand out a little better...
How cute is that pink resin bunny? I have had him in my
stash for ages waiting for the perfect layout to add him to!
Thanks so much for joining me on The Cut Shoppe blog today! Have you checked out all the amazing cut files in The Cut Shoppe Etsy store lately? There are sooo many to choose from you won't know where to start!
See you next time....

Hi 7

Starting a new year, brings a whole new round of birthdays!  And I'm sure that we all have tons of past birthday photos, sitting around waiting to be scrapped!  So our new It's My Party cut file set, is perfect for your birthday layouts and projects!  Our middle daughter's birthday is December 26th, and she turned 7 this year.  I snapped some photos of her on her birthday day, and just had to use the It's My Party cut file on my layout today!

I wanted to use the "It's Your Day" cut file, so that inspired me to create a circle design on my layout.  I opened the It's My Party cut file in Silhouette Studio and traced the shape.  Then I placed it in the position I wanted it and then added 3 circles.  I moved the It's Your Day cut file to the side and cut the circles from White cardstock.  Next I backed the circles...one with my photo and two with patterned paper.  Then I adhered the It's Your Day cut file.  I also used the sketchy circle design from the Alphabet Soup background cut file.  I thought they would add a fun look around the smaller circles.  I finished my layout by adding embellishments, stitching, and a couple of other die cuts from the It's My Party cut file set.

Diecut THANK YOU Card

Hey! It's Heather here today with my first TCS post of they year! Wow, right?!

My design for this card involved lots of different alphabet cut files from The Cut Shoppe, including the new "Tiny Type" cut file. I just took one letter from one set, another from a second set, and so forth. I love how quirky the different fonts looked all collaged together!

I love backing a negative diecut with patterned paper, so I did that and then embellished the top of the card with a few items like sequins, wood veneer, and sticking. I also watercolored around some of the letters and splattered a little bit of mist before I placed the diecut negative on the card. I did this so the phrase stood out a little bit more.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Building Bella

Hi everyone!  It's Thursday, and that means it's time to share a layout, using the new Cut File sets that have been added to The Cut Shoppe.  I've had the new Serendipity collection from Dear Lizzy, just sitting and wanting to be used, so I thought it would be perfect with the new Retro Rounded Corners cut file!  Here's how I used both on my layout:

I removed a row from the 12x12 background, to create 9 shapes instead of 12 and cut them from different patterned papers in the Dear Lizzy Serendipity 6x6 paper pad.  After I had all of my shapes in place, I added machine stitching, and then used a Yellow Gelato in some of the White spaces for a little bit more color.  I also used the new Tiny Type cut file, to number the photos on my layout.  That's right, this one has alphas and numbers!  YAY!  Once my numbers were in place, I did a quick machine stitch to add a bit of texture.

When you stop by The Cut Shoppe, make sure you check out all three of the new Cut File sets!
