Hello My Pretty | Jill Keller

I took about a million pictures of my girly's first Halloween.  I'm still scrapping them, and she's 5.5 years old.  Ha!

To create this page I used the spider web from the Creepy Crawly cut file from The Cut Shoppe, enlarging the web as large as I could on a 12x12 cutting mat, even allowing it to go off the cutting area just a bit.

After adhering the cut file to my background paper, I machine stitched using gold thread.

No, my stitching isn't perfect, and I had a heckuva time going around the numbers and letters, but I think the imperfections make the page even sweeter.

Isn't that little spider just adorable?  He's so big and round, not scary at all!  I embellished my page with stickers and die cuts, adding some pieces with foam adhesive for more dimension.

So Spooky

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a spookly layout created completely with products from The Cut Shoppe!

This layout uses the new Ghost Town Digital Collection, and the super cute Happy Halloween Wood Veneers!

I began the layout by splattering the background with orange and black mist. I cut my title out from the Creepy Crawly cut file, and backed it with patterned paper from Ghost Town. I also used Ghost Town papers for my layers behind my photo! I cut Tangled Web from black cardstock, and trimmed it down to individual webs for the rest of my background. I added the wood veneers and a few enamel stars to complete the page.

That wraps it up for today, thank you for stopping by! I hope you feel inspired to create some spooky pages!

#frankenbaby

Hey everyone! Sarah here with my last post as a part of The Cut Shoppe design team. :( I have had such a great time being a part of this team, and the cut files are seriously amazing!! I will be sad to go!

Well, on with my layout! I am IN LOVE with the Halloween files! I have a thing for background cut files. I love adding them as a layer to my layouts and the Tangled Web background made such a cool layer! I adhered it by just stitching it on in a random circle with my sewing machine. I wanted it to look even more webby and I love the effect!

These two adorable speech bubbles came from the Creepy Crawly cut file. They are just too cute! I love making them pop with a bright background! If you didn't know that the Cut Shoppe has printables, then you definitely need to go check them out! The "ghosts and goblins" card right beside my little frankenbaby is one of those fab printables! I love printing them out on vellum to give them a softer look too! Love how you can see a bit of the other patterned paper through the vellum!

I also used the Chevron in a Triangle file as a mask with some translucent embossing paste. LOVE the texture it gives!

I hope you've enjoyed my layouts as a part of The Cut Shoppe as much as I've enjoyed being a part of the team!!

Blessings!
