What a great day it was around here for my boys when I told them I scored two Patriots tickets!  It was a late Sunday night game and pretty darn cold outside.  Throughout the evening, I received texts and pictures of what I was missing.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  

I decided on these two cut files below, to emphasize the football theme on my layout.  When I saw the Leaf Love cut file, I saw FOOTBALLS not leaves!!  I placed a brown patterned paper behind some of the "footballs" to help them stand out.  A splash of blue and green papers behind my photo help bring out the field and the team colors.

I hope that I have inspired you today to think outside of the box.  Just because it says "Leaf" doesn't mean you can't make them into footballs, right?

Schools Out For Summer

Hi gals, I am so very excited to be joining The Cut Shoppe team.
I hope I can inspire you through my take on cut files.  To be honest, I created a layout, then started all over again (ask my pals that had to hear me whine!)  I guess that is the best thing about cut files, they can be used over and over again instead of a one time use kinda thing!  Good thing for me!!  Today I am sharing a layout with a photo from the last day of school.  I don't know how I captured an un-blurry photo of a boy running to his dad with my iPhone, but I did!!

This layout has three different cut files!  The starburst is the patterned paper, cut with scissors along the provided path.  Nothing fancy, but sure does make it dramatic!

Hi die-cut fans!

Today I'm sharing a LO where I've used three different cut files.

Using texture paste is something I LOVE to do, and on this LO I used the new fabulous file "The Optical Illusion" as a mask. I cut it down to a smaller size to suit my page.

For my title & the "go fight win" circle I used the "Game On" cut file. That set is so much fun and perfect for all those sport LO's!

The "go" circle is from the "Driver's Ed" set, it worked just fine with this LO too!
