Hi Everyone,

Gina here, and I am excited to share a new layout with you using the Sew Loved cut file.

To create my layout I took the Sew Loved cut file and opened it in my Silhouette Studio software program.  I used a copy + paste option to repeat the pattern several times and then cut the file from patterned paper.  I also used the same method to cut the pattern several times from white cardstock.

I used watercolor paints on several of the hearts, and then grouped them all behind my photo!

Today's layout is a little preview of what you'll see during our Blog Hop with Paper Camellia, starting tomorrow!!  The Paper Camellia December Kit, is filled with some awesome products, including the Stitched collection from Amy Tangerine.  And The Cut Shoppe has 5 new Cut File sets that coordinate with the December Kit!  So today, I have a layout to share with you, using the Paper Camellia December Kit and the Put a Frame On It cut file and the Bitty Borders cut file.

I kept a simple color scheme on my layout, starting out with the Heidi Swapp patterned paper for my background.  I used a lot of Black and Gray, and added in touches of Yellow and Teal, using some of the patterned papers from the Kit and the Amy Tangerine Stitched rub-ons.  I added the Put a Frame On It cut file over my photo and stitched through some of the "X"s at the bottom of the frame.  And instead of using the full Bitty Borders cut file, I just cut a few of the plus signs from the border and added Black stitching to the inside of the shape.

Ho Ho Ho

Hello there! Allie here, and I can't believe there is only one week until Christmas! I've been in the Christmas spirit for awhile now, and I have been enjoying creating Christmas layouts (while listening to Christmas music of course). For today's layout, I used the cute "Ho Ho Ho" and "Winter Weather" cut files.

I used the snowflakes for a background and the Ho Ho Ho for the title.

I cut some of the snowflakes out using glitter paper for a little extra festive bling! I used the offset tool to further emphasize my title with the silver glitter paper. I kept it pretty simple so I could focus on the photo and die cuts!

I love using glitter paper with cut files, I think it makes them even more special. Thanks for letting me share my layout, I hope you have a wonderful week!

White Christmas

Hi Folks, Mary-Ann sharing with you today!  Since we have been preparing for Christmas around my house, I wanted to keep with the theme and play with my Christmas scrapbooking product.  I managed to get this pretty layout together with a house full of company coming for the weekend!  Sometimes, things are best under pressure.  I hope that you all are surrounded by family and friends and are having as much fun as we are this time of year.

Jingle Bells

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

The weather outside is frightful. Baby, it's cold outside!  But, inside my scrap room the stars are brightly shining, and all is merry and bright.  I've been busy scrapping about our love of Christmas music.

I used the 'Jingle Bells' from the Make it Merry set to make a negative in my background.  I also took just the J for the music notes and I mirrored one to get it going the opposite way.

Ding dong merrily on high!

I used the Buddy the Elf set for the word favourite, but since I'm a Canucklehead of a Canadian, I had to add that U, so I just duplicated the O and trimmed the top off of it ;)  I also welded the word together so that it would be easier to handle on the page.  I tend to move things around... a LOT.
