When I'm working on a layout, I typically make my cut files a big focal point. But since it's #TBT today, I thought I would do something a bit different. I used the cut files in a more subtle way, because of the background technique, which was inspired by one of Paige Evans' layouts created for Big Picture Classes. I used one of the leaves from the Feeling Fallish cut file set and the arrow from the Get to the Point background cut file.
I cut the leaf from the Pink Paislee wood grain paper, tucked it behind the photo and layered over it with a few embellishments. And the arrows from the Get to the Point background cut file were perfect with the paper pieced background.
