Happy Life

Hello!  It's time for me to stop in and share a new layout and a few new cut file designs!  This week I incorporated four cut files from The Cut Shoppe into my layout...two of the new designs and two of our older designs.  I picked up some of the On Trend 2 collection from My Mind's Eye and used it with the new And Love cut file and the A Way with Words cut file!

I loved the bright, striped paper in the MME collection, so I started by cutting the And Love ampersand from it.  Then I used the rest of the paper on opposite corners of the page.  I layered my photo, title and some of the MME embellishments over the ampersand.

I really liked the look of the bright colors from the On Trend 2 collection contrasting with the White cardstock on the layout.  I thought it would be a good idea to use two other cut files cut from the same White cardstock, to add a tone on tone look.  I cut leaves from the Funky Florals cut file and tucked them behind some of the MME embelishments.  I also cut heart borders from the Spring Fling cut file set and adhered them along the diagonal stripes.

There are so many ways to combine the different cut file designs from The Cut Shoppe!  If you're browsing the store, make sure you check out all three of the new sets, and the variety of other sets offered in the shop!

And if you need any help tracing, separating or welding your cut files, I have a new Process Video on my YouTube channel.  I walk through each of these steps, if you would like to check it out!
