Hello Love, Planner Bag

Aimee here, sharing my absolute favorite way to use The CutShoppe’s digital files:
Heat Transfer!

I am so in love with the heat transfer material from Silhouette and Circut. Im sure there are other brands available too. These 2 brands are the most available at Joanns Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I have used both companies, and feel they are pretty equal.

*Note be sure to follow the packages directions and your machines suggested settings.

Here I used The Cut Shoppe's "In Stitches" red heat transfer from Circut, on a denim tote I bought at Hobby Lobby.

Number 1 thing about this project: remember to flip your image! I forgot to flip the image when I sent the image to my Silhouette. I didnt even realize I had forgotten to flip it until I was done weeding the material. Instead of throwing the cut away {the material is not cheap} I thought I would rock a backwards design, doesn’t it look super trendy/hipsterish?

And of course I have to share my cute little photo bomber/prop modeling this bag!

Isnt this the cutest planner bag?!

I just love the red stitching on the denim.

Hello Love

I love the look of stitching and I think the In Stitches cut file is so unique and fun! I couldn't wait to use it, the only hard part was choosing which version!

\

For this layout I used the top version of "Hello Love". I cut it out and backed each letter with a different pattern. To help the title stand out more, I outlined each "X" with a black pen. I chose to make the layout about my adorable pup because I couldn't wait to use the bow tie wood veneer I found at Michael's! It's perfect for him since he always wears a tie.

I partially backed the white cardstock onto a patterned paper, but apparently I didn't line it up straight. To me, scrapbooking is all about embracing the imperfections, so I'm choosing to let it go! I hope you have a fabulous day!

Hello Love

We've got some awesome new Cut Files sets in The Cut Shop this week, and I have a new layout to share using the In Stitches set!  I love that this week's sets offer a lot of options for creativity and the ways they can be used on your projects.  The In Stitches cut file set, can be used as is with different patterned papers, or it would be fun to use it as a misting stencil or a stitching template!  I went with the patterned paper option on my layout.

I wanted to use the In Stitches set to create a large title on my layout.  I cut the negative "Hello" from White cardstock and then backed each of the letters with a different patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Flutter collection 6x6 paper pad.   And then to add a contrast to the title, I cut the positive of the word "Love" from a solid Navy paper included in the Flutter collection.

I also have a short Process Video today, showing how I put this layout together, so make sure you check it out!

There are also two other fun cut file sets in The Cut Shoppe today, so don't forget to visit the Shop and check them out!
