Hello Sunshine

Hello everyone it's Zinia here again and I have another layout to share with you using the beautiful Sassy Circles cut file from the Cut Shoppe.

I was initially going to make this an A4 size layout (similar to 8.5x11) since I cut it using my portrait machine but as I was going I decided to mount that page on a 12x12 paper and make it work! So to all portrait owners, you can still cut beautiful backgrounds for your 12x12 pages, you just need to be a bit more creative with it.

I used some sort of wrapping tissue paper to create some ruffles at the sides of my A4 page to help it stand out. I backed the open spots with some papers from the Amy Tangerine "Rise & Shine" collection and then I started embellishing.

I created a cluster at the top left corner of my page using bits from different collections I had laying around.

I decided to punch out some tiny circles, color them and spread them around like confetti to break the white of the background.

I really hope you enjoyed and got inspired to create something beautiful with your cut files. Until next time, happy scrapping.

Sunday Scraplifiting:

Hey there, Aimee here to share a layout that I totally scraplifted from owner Ashley Horton!

I just loved how Ashley used the “leaf it to me” leaves for the Simple Stories product swap,
I needed to copy her!

To create my take on her layout, I used the Amy Tan Finders Keepers 6x6 paper pad. I placed 4 different 6x6 sheets on my Silhouette Cameo cutting mat {this was a fairly new mat and the pieces of paper stuck nicely with out needing to tape them down}.

In the silhouette program I resized the leaves to be less than 6 inches and arranged them to cut
4 leaves from each sheet of paper, giving me 16 leaves in total.

I traced a dinner plate to create my circle on my card stock. I then arranged my leaves on top of that circle. After all my leaves were placed and adhered, I ran my cardstock through my sewing machine to create the wonky stitching.

After the base was created I adhered my 5x7 photo with foam adhesive.

Then the fun part, placing all the little bits and pieces. Here I have used some puffy stickers from “finders keepers” and different enamel dots from various companies
{I know that most are from October Afternoon}

Do you ever see a layout that inspired you so much you JUST needed to make it? Ashley continues to inspire me daily! Don’t be surprised if you see me scraplifiting more of her layouts!

Be Happy

Hi there everyone!

It's Tarrah here with you today, I wanted to share a layout I recently created using just the one cut file set from The Cut Shoppe this time.....I decided to use just the one title 'Be Happy' from the Word Up set....I repeated it all over my layout using the black sketch pen....

The cut file set I used...'Word Up'

I used some watercolour pencils to shade inside one
of the 'Be Happy' titles for a pop of colour.....

I used lots of different Amy Tan papers and
embellishments to help create my layout....

Ashley is so amazing with her designs for the etsy store....check out all the wonderful cut files in store at The Cut Shoppe now...don't forget, you don't always have to cut the files, you can use your sketch pens to draw with them too just like I did on this layout!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
