Happy Labor Day!  It's time to introduce our first Guest Designer for September!  Help us welcome Sherry Coogan!  Sherry is super sweet, and creates amazing layouts and we love her use of cut files!  She has an amazing layout to share with us today, but first let's get to know a bit about Sherry.

Hello, everyone! My name is Sherry Coogan and I live in beautiful Signal Mountain, TN with my husband, two children, and a spoiled cat.

Combining pretty paper with cherished photos is truly a passion of mine. Creating with Ashley’s fun and fabulous cut files was such a treat!

When I’m not scrapbooking, I love to read, exercise, and dabble in art.

Thanks so much for joining us Sherry!  Let's see Sherry's gorgeous layout using the Oodles of Doodles cut file and the Happy Camper cut file!

WOW!!  This layout is right up my alley!  I love the bright, happy colors Sherry used and the way she layered multiple cut files from the two different sets!  And how cute are the 4 little photos placed around the compass die cut!

Thank you so much Sherry for guesting with us!  You can find more of Sherry's beautiful work on her Blog, My Favorite Things.  You can also find links to more of Sherry's social media platforms on her Blog.

Guest Designer | Tanya Hubbard

Happy 4th of July everyone!!  Hope you're all having a great holiday!  We've got our first July Guest Designer with us today, and you're going to love what she created!  Please help me welcome Tanya Hubbard!  Tanya is a regular on the Hip Kit Club Facebook Member Forum and her layouts caught our eye!  She has two layouts to share with us today, but before we take a look at them, let's get to know a little bit more about Tanya!

I'm a Mom to two beautiful girls, 4 cats and married to an amazing man and we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Cape Town...South Africa. I've been scrapbooking since 2002 and love nothing more than to play in my craft room with pretty photos, paper and embellishments. My favourite topics to scrap are my girls and our vacations and I love to incorporate my sense of humour into my scrapping.

Thanks so much for joining us Tanya!  Now let's take a look at those layouts!

Scrapbook Circle & The Cut Shoppe Team Up Day 4!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 4 of our Team Up with the Scrapbook Circle Design Team!  I hope you've enjoyed seeing what all of the Design Team members from both Teams have created this week with the June Kit from Scrapbook Circle and cut files from The Cut Shoppe!  And we've still got one more day of inspiration coming up tomorrow!  Today it's my turn, and I've got two layouts to share with you!

Road Trip:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/201046747/the-this-way-cut-file-is-a-12x12?ref=shop_home_active_16

I wanted to make a big impact on this layout, using the patterned papers from the Scrapbook Circle June Kit and a large cut file.  I used the Crop feature in Silhouette Studio, to create the shaped letters, inside the US map, and then backed each one with different papers from the Kit.  Before I adhered the die cut map from the On the Road cut file to my background, I cut the This Way cut file from White cardstock and placed a few patterned papers behind it and then layered the die cut background over a second sheet of White cardstock.

I've got a new Process Video to share with you for this layout, if you would like to check out how I cropped the letters to create the negative effect on the On the Road cut file!

Hello Ohio:

I really loved the travel papers and embellishments included in the Scrapbook Circle June Kit, so I decided to go for a travel theme on both of my layouts.  I wanted to go for a darker background on this layout, so I used the back side of the Latitude patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Atlas collection.  I enlarged the compass from the Happy Camper cut file set, and backed each of the open sections with various patterned papers from the Kit.  Then I cut the word Ohio from the All Tied Up Alpha cut file set, and arranged it around the circle shape of the compass.

I had so much fun creating with the June Kit from Scrapbook Circle!  And you've got a chance to win a June Kit for yourself!!  Just make sure you comment on each of the Design Team posts this week, and one random winner will be chosen!  You can also win a $20 Gift Certificate to The Cut Shoppe, by commenting on the Scrapbook Circle Design Team Blogs!

And, if you're shopping in The Cut Shoppe this week, don't forget to use the Coupon Code SCTCS30, to save 30% off of your order!

Na-sing!

Hi there, it's Cara here today, with my not so sneaky son. ;) I used a few cutfiles for this layout to make it fun, and to highlight my son's sneakiness and his habit of hiding things :D

The background cutfile is Spinning Spirals.  I love the whimsical feel it adds to the page.

The Spinning Spirals background cut file is available in 8.5x11 and 12x12 sizes, for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

The compass comes from the Happy Camper cutfile.  Sometimes I feel like we need one to find all the things this boy has hidden or lost, so it was perfect!

The Happy Camper cut file includes 7 travel/camping themed icons, that can be used for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

I wanted to do a bit of stitching but not spend hours on it, so I took the longer arrow from the Doodle Dandy cutfile and instead of cutting it out, I cut holes at specific points around the edge. Stitching it was fun and easy :D

The Doodle Dandy cut file set consists of 7 hand-doodled icons, that can be used for your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

I have a couple of blog post that talks about adding stitching holes, if you'd like to try it.  You can find  them here and here.  Have a fantastic day!

Happy Camper

Hello everyone, it's Danielle here with you today. I have a layout to share made with some cut files from the Happy Camper cut file set. All papers and embellishments are from the Crate Paper Journey collection, which is such a perfect match to these cut files!

This picture is taken during camping in Yosemite. As a kid I loved camping, as an adult not so much. I guess I've spend too much time in hotels the last 15 years. From camping in The Netherlands I was used to having to take your own toilet paper to the restroom, so that's what I did in Yosemite as well. I was very pleased to see that this wasn't needed overhere, so luckily I had to make this embarrassing trip only one time :-)

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!
