Boooooo for goodbyes!!

Sadly, this is my last post as a design team member of The Cut Shoppe.  I have LOVED every second I've spent on this team with such a great leader and talented designers, and I look forward to seeing where The Cut Shoppe goes.  Thanks to Ashley, for allowing me to overstay my welcome on this wonderful team.

For my last DT layout, I used a few of my favorite cut files.  I adore the Any Which Way background cut file, and turned it on it's side for my project. I got my title from the Let's Do Summer cut file.

Here's my layout.

Here's a closeup of the arrows, I added some patterned paper behind some of them.

Thanks for visiting the blog today!

Every Picture

Hi guys! Michelle here with you today to share a layout featuring the very fun Stay Focused cut file from The Cut Shoppe!

The Stay Focused cut file set consists of 5 photo themed icons, that can be used on your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

I love, love the "every picture has a story to tell" cut file because it really cuts straight to the purpose of my memory keeping. Each picture that I choose to scrap tells a story-sometimes that story is small and sometimes the story is big, but no matter what, the picture holds a special meaning for me and it is always my goal to communicate that through the layout that I design. Using this cut file as my title in the next layout seemed like a perfect fit for the single photo that I had from the day my youngest began her first gymnastics class.

As I was working in Silhouette to size the title, I thought that it would be fun to also cut the circular "smile" piece out from the red patterned paper.  This worked to bring the focus from the title straight down to the photo as well as to add some dimension to my relatively flat page.

Wishing you a great day!

Keep Going

Hello! It's Heather here with my last project for The Cut Shoppe! I have loved my time on the team, and my absence here on the blog doesn't mean I will stop using Ashley's awesome cut files! You can still see what I create on my blog, Crafty Scrapbooker. :)

So for this last project, I wanted to do a reflective page about how I feel about my life right now. Scrapping about my inner feelings is always liberating and I love looking back on these kind of pages to see what I was thinking and feeling at certain points in my life.

I chose the title "Keep Going" because I thought that was a perfect summary of what I'm feeling right now. I've just got to keep trucking along. :)

I used the awesome background cut file called "Curtain Call" for this page. I added patterns behind some of the diamond negatives and then stitched over the top of some rows to add some more interest to the layout. I actually trimmed one row of diamonds off the background cutfile so I would have some white space to journal on.

So that's about it for this layout! Like I said, I have loved my time on the team and I wish all the best to Ashley and all the lovely ladies here! :)

I Love You To Infinity & Beyond

Hi everyone! It's Lee-Anne here and today I wanted to share a layout I created of my two older kids and their spouses.  They live a few hours away so I don't get to see them as much as I would like but enjoyed our time together and had to take some photos.

Here are a few more closeups

I used the I Love You To Infinity & Beyond Phrase Cut File and cut the phrase apart and added it to my layout as shown above.

and the #Photo Op Frame in the #Foto Frames Cut File which has four different frames.

These and several more cut files can be found in the Etsy Store here.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a creative day!
