Guest Designer | Raechelle Bellus

Today, we are so excited to welcome our August Guest Designer, Raechelle Bellus!  Raechelle, creates beautiful layouts, and we always love to see how she uses cut files from The Cut Shoppe!  She has an awesome layout to share with us today, and a little bit about herself!

Hello I’m Raechelle and I am thrilled to be a guest designer today! I have been scrapping for close to fifteen years now and while I have dabbled in many formats creating layouts is where my passion lies. There is no greater joy than seeing the excitement on a loved ones face when I share a piece of my heart (on paper) with them. Our children are all adults now, so my granddaughter is my main subject now.

I live in beautiful Bowling Green, KY and enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our dog. I’m an avid reader and also enjoy working puzzles and baking.

What a great layout!!  We love the way Raechelle embellished the centers of some of the circles on the cut file, and the patterned papers look great behind the White card stock!  So much to love!

Zumba!

Happy Tuesday, Laura coming to you today with a super fun background cut in What Goes Around. I used the 8.5x11 version, cut from white card stock. I dragged sections of the cut through puddles of distress ink puddled on my splat mat, giving it this fun rainbow effect, which was perfect for this photo of a Zumba-thon I recently attended. I cut the title from the fun alpha, Write On Alpha. I love the fun feel of this alpha and the filled in centers. I thought it just added that bit of carefree fun to the page.

Guest Designer | Zsoka Marko

We are so excited to introduce our first of two April Guest Designers!!  Zsoka Marko is with us today, and she created three amazing layouts with cut files from The Cut Shoppe!  Zsoka caught our eye last year, when she started posting layouts with the cut files, and we just had to invite her to guest design with us!  Before we see the layouts from Zsoka, let's get to know a little bit more about her!

I’m Hungarian, living in Germany with my Dutch boyfriend and our 7-year-old son. I’ve been living here for over 11 years and I have no plans to return home.  I have been crafting all my life. I went through all crafts there is, I think  I had been cookie/cake decorating for about 3 years when the bomb hit.  I had 3 slipped discs and sciatica and I lost my mojo.  Probably because for 8 months I was in horrific pain and no treatment helped. Then I went for surgery.  I always wanted to try scrapbooking and while I was recovering at home I needed something to take my mind off of my misery! I was not able to sit for almost a year, and figured this I can do standing too, so I did just that! This was a year ago, and I haven’t stopped since. Not a day goes by without me creating something, I am so in love! It also helps that I’ve had several successes in this short time, features on different blogs, guest designing for Shimelle and recently the most amazing project I could ever dream of: I had the honor to guest design for Pink Paislee! I created 7 layouts, a mini album and a card. I loved it so much because I could create feminine layouts, which I don’t normally do because I have a boy!

WOW!  These are all fantastic Zsoka!  Love the bright colors on the boy layouts and the soft look with the gold on the feminine layout!

Hello! Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using one of the fun new backgrounds from 

The Cut Shoppe!  I love the intricate backgrounds...I think they are fun to play with!  I used the 12x12 What Goes Around file with white cardstock. I backed random circles with different patterns from Amy Tangerine's Stitched collection.  

For my title, I used this  cute sentiment from the Girl Stuff cut file set!  I used a darker pattern on top of the white and bright colors.  

I also used the flower from Girl Stuff in different sizes and patterns to accent my page.
