Happy | Erica Thompson

Hello TCS fans! Erica here with you today to share a sweet layout using the Finally Fall cut file set!
https://www.etsy.com/listing/645057113/the-finally-fall-cut-file-can-be-used?ref=shop_home_active_65
I uploaded this file to my Silhouette and wanted to just use the one of the leaf files.  I cut out three of the leafs with my machine in some white smooth American Crafts card stock. I pulled out the Simple Stories Forever Fall collection I picked up in the Clique Kits shop. I absolutely love this fall collection. I backed the leaves with different pattern papers from the collection. The colors in this collection are gorgeous and rich and the perfect fall collection.
The photo is of our little Liam Jay. It was October 9th..his 1st Birthday and of coarse I had to take some photos of him on this day! The light outside was so sweet and I just set him out front on our sidewalk so that I could see the colorful trees in the background and snapped away! He was so happy clapping and laughing and I love how they turned out! I  knew this collection and the Finally Fall cut file would be perfect to document this photo.
Liam blessed our lives one year ago and he sure was a big surprise! We thought our family was complete after Eli. Little did we know there was a different plan for our family. After a couple months of being sick and not able to get out of bed I thought there is no way we could be expecting..no way. But to our surprise we were expecting and pretty far along. Things happen in life and this little blessing was meant to be ours for a reason. He is a busy, crazy, silly little boy. He sure does keep us super busy. We could not imagine our lives without him and so blessed to have him in our family. I just had to document our sweet October boy.
Once I had the leaves backed with the pretty pattern papers I glued them down to my page going from one corner of the page to the bottom corner. I added lots of layers of paper scraps behind my photo and then began to embellish with different pieces from the collection. For my title I just used the word Happy because he is so happy in this photo and he makes everyone in our family Happy. It was just perfect for this layout. This leaf cut file could be used in so many ways! I had fun decided on how to add them to my page when I started and you can see some of this in the video on my channel! Here is a look at my completed layout and I hope you enjoy it! I can't wait to see what you do with this Finally Fall cut file set! Remember to tag The Cut Shoppe when sharing your projects so we can see what you are all creating!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! We hope to see you back again tomorrow for more cut file inspiration!

Fall days | Sasha Biyanova

Hello, friends!

It's Sasha here today with you to share my new TN spreads. What can I say about? One walk, so many photos and a lot of inspiration from The Cut Shoppe! This is perfect combination!

I used Falling for you traveler's notebook decorative page for my first spread.

I wanted to tell the story about the first leaves which began to fall down at the beginning of September.

I cut phrase on the background and used small pieces of scrapbook paper behind the background. I really loved the result.

And even my son was surprised to leaves. However, he is surprised to everything now.

I used Finally Fall cut file for my second spread. "Feeling fallish" was the perfect title to my story so I decided to use it with this photo.

And also I loved the Fall banner! I think orange and blue colors were perfectly combined here. And these wrong words are so cute.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've been inspired by my TN spreads, and that you'll check out other designs at The Cut Shoppe!

Happy crafting!

Feeling Fallish | Erica Thompson

Happy October 1st!  I am so excited for this month and this new term with The Cut Shoppe!  October is my absolute favorite month of the year!  Today I am sharing a layout using the Finally Fall cut file!
I used the Feeling Fallish saying from this set and just love it to pieces!  I went into my stash and pulled out some Pretty Little Studio Oakley Avenue designed by Ashley Horton.  I also pulled some pieces from Clique Kits exclusive journal cards and the new Simple Stories Forever Fall collection.  I started with a white piece of American Crafts card stock, some Tim Holtz Distress Inks in lots of fall colors.  I added ink to my acrylic block, added some water and then dropped color all over.
I backed the cut file with the 4x6 pack of Oakley Avenue papers and one of the CK journal cards.  Both of these came in a past Clique Kit.  I love the fall colors in Oakley Avenue!
I used some Tombow foam squares to pop the cut file up to add some dimension to my layout.
I added a few layers of paper behind my photo of Mr. Eli James in the leaves. I used a lot of small stickers and die cuts to embellish around the photo and die cut!  I love all the fall leaves in the Forever Fall collection from Simple Stories.
Here is a look at the completed layout using the Finally Fall cut file !  I just love how it turned out and love how the orange in Eli's sweatshirt really pops and goes perfect with the colors in the layout!

Feeling Fallish | Donna Espiritu

Hello, lovelies! It's Donna here and it's my last post and project as a TCS Design Team member. I really had fun creating with Ashley's cut files and will miss sharing my works with all of you.
So, for my project, I made a scrapbook layout and I used one of the newest cut files set in the shop,

Since I don't have any paper or collection with a fall theme, I used a digital kit and printed off elements and papers to back the "fallish" word in the cut file.

Started by creating a textured background splattering a mixture of watercolors and spray mists over a stenciled white cardstock. I really like how the mixed brown, orange and yellow watercolors and mists look here.

Instead of using this leaf cut file as is, I separated them and made them look like trees behind the colored leaves.

I mounted the "feeling fallish" cut file with a foam tape for a bit of dimension since I used a white cardstock.

That's all from me today and I really hope this layout inspired you to make something today. Thank you so much for dropping by and see you around the scrapbooking land!

Happy crafting,

Fall Fun Layout with Neftali

Hello one last time, friends, as my term with The Cut Shoppe comes to an end. I have had an absolute blast these past six months working with Ashley’s beautiful cutfile designs, and I hope that I have been able to inspire you some. I’m sure you guys will enjoy the talent of the team that will continue next month, as it is full of so many great ladies who truly love scrapping!

So for my last post today, I am sharing a second Fall themed layout using the Finally Fall cutfile set.

I only used the leaf on the far top-right and the “fall” banner below it to create this layout of my little guy at our local Pumpkin Patch!

As far as supplies, I used some new Carta Bella goodies I had just received this week. The banner was cut on Carta Bella and the stickers were also from the Hello Fall Carta Bella collection. The backing to the banner, as well as the backing of the photo, was a Prima paper I had on my desk from my last project.

This layout came together fairly quickly, as it’s not too busy or overly embellished. However, there are some sweet details here and there.

I liked the stitching I added to the banner, which gave it a “handmade” feel.

I also really loved the layering that the leaves gave. I cut out a total of six and clustered them  in groups of three, all using the same Carta Bella paper. Some were just simply turned to the back side, which gave a cool contrasting  effect.

The top right cluster also had part of my title which said “fun” and these Thickers were actually from the Crate Paper Wild Thing collection from this past summer, but the colors went so well! I also added a wood grain heart to this cluster, and a matching sticker.

My final touch was to add a final cluster of pumpkins above my banner and  two more wood grain hearts, one in each cluster. And, a few orange splatters, of course.

That, friends is how I created this final layout as a Creative Team member of The Cut Shoppe. I have been so lucky these past months to work with suck gorgeous, easy-to-use designs, and I will now be a regular customer of these pretties. I hope that I have inspired you all some bits here and there, and I thank you all for coming here and reading my posts. I wish you all a happy Fall season, and a wonderful day! Bye, now!

welcome fall | orange gearle

Hi Orange Gearle here with a fun fall layout for you! I dug into my stash and used a mixture of Jen Hatfield products from the last couple of years. Here is my layout:

For this layout I used two of the leaves from the new Finally Fall cut file. I just love this file and I know I will use other parts of it soon (in fact, I may have already cut some of the other parts)!

I cut the file using a wood grain paper and then I backed it with yellows, reds, and a text paper. I really love how it looks with the woodgrain paper. The details in these flowers are pretty awesome. And yes, I did back that fall leaf with lemon paper!

There were some copper/gold leaves and flowers in the embellishments, so I used some alphas of the same color for my title. I love using up my stash!

For a few finishing touches, I added some tangled, metallic thread and a few wood veneer leaves from Color Cast Designs.

I also made a video of my process, if that suits your fancy!

Thanks so much for stopping by! XO o.g.

New Cut Files | Feeling Fallish

I don't know about you guys, but I am over summer!  I was pretty much over it after the first two weeks!  HA!  Fall has always been my favorite time of the year, so I am excited to have some new fall designs in The Cut Shoppe Etsy store.  I used two of the designs from the Finally Fall cut file on the layout I'm sharing today.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/645057113/the-finally-fall-cut-file-can-be-used?ref=shop_home_feat_1

It's been a while, since I've worked with a collection pack, but I picked up the Fall Breeze collection from PhotoPlayPaper.  I knew I wanted to use it for some upcoming fall layouts in my Traveler's Notebook, but it was perfect for this layout too.  Believe it or not, this layout is made with only patterned paper and stickers!!  That's very unusual for me, but I loved the end result.

I started my layout by repeating the leaf design in Silhouette Studio and cutting it from White card stock.  Then I backed each shape with one of the patterned papers from the Fall Breeze collection.  Before adding anything else to my layout, I ran it through my sewing machine to stitch along the center of each of the leaves.  Next, I cut the title and decided to back it with White card stock, so it would stand out from everything else going on in the background.

Once I had the title where I wanted it, I added my photo.  This photo is from a trip we took to Nashville last October.  I probably won't get many more pumpkin patch photo shoots out of these kids, since our youngest is 9.  :)  The embellishing on the layout was quick and easy.  I chose a mix of stickers from the collection sticker sheet and placed them around the photo.  To add some variety to the stickers, I adhered some to the layout with pop dots and I also curled and roughed up the edges of the stickers.

I hope you've found some inspiration today for your upcoming fall projects!  And this layout proves that you don't have to over-think things with choosing your embellishments.  Sometimes an awesome cut file and stickers are all you need!

You can visit The Cut Shoppe Etsy store to pick up the Finally Fall cut, and check out our other three designs that are now available!
