Squared Away | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafty friends! Vânia here, today i´m sharing a page of my ring bound Travler´s Notebook made using the Squared Away cut file and the Eat Beat digital stamp, as always you can find this products on The Cut Shoppe.

I´ve started by creating the layout of the right side of my page using Photoshop and the digital stamps. Then print it with my home printer.

To decorate the pages i use some bits and pieces from an old Dear Lizzy collection, named Saturday.

On the left side i chose to use the Squared Away cut file, resizing and adapting the file to the format that i need. I then backed the file using some different patterned papers that match the color scheme of my page.

And that´s all for today! Thank you for passing by!

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out | with orange gearle

Hi! Orange Gearle here with a layout in my December Daily Traveler's Notebook. Today's spread is days 3 & 4 and all about movies and coffee (two of my favorites)! Here is my project:

For Day 3 I used the "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out Kid" from the Merry Movies cut file.

I cut the file using white card stock and then I backed it with patterned paper. I used the same paper to back the file that is on my other page -- this helped tie the two pages together.

For my journaling I did journal strips on Day 3 and tucked a tag behind my phone on Day 4. I have really enjoyed adding more of the story to this project!

I am using a lot of papers and embellishments from Crate Paper's Merry Days collection as well as adding in a bunch of embellishments from Color Cast Designs.  This is such a fun project!

I also made a video of my process, if that's something that suits your fancy!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again soon! Happy Holidays! XO o.g.

All You Need Is Ice Cream TN Spread | Donna Espiritu

Hello, loves! Donna here with a TN layout using one of the cut files in the Snack Attack set

I like how this turned out, soft and yet colorful in a way.

Using the Silhouette Cameo machine, I cut the file with a white cardstock and backed it with some colorful papers in the Hello Summer collection by Simple Stories. I covered one page with pattern paper and the other side plain.

I stamped and splattered using different colors to mimic colorful sprinkles I did this to both pages.

I opted to mat/layer the photo with different pattern papers instead of covering the entire page. Then I used stickers, die cuts and some fussy cut pieces to embellish the pages.

I hope this inspired you to create something today. See you in my next post :)

Thanks for dropping by!
Happy crafting,

So Happy Together | Marsha Farris

Hello friends!  Marsha Farris here sharing my first project with you as the newest member of The Cut Shoppe Design Team!

I was so excited to create a spread in my ringed traveler's notebook album using the new Endless Summer Printable and the Tall Titles cut file that were both added to The Cut Shoppe earlier this week.

I opened the Endless Summer Printable in Photoshop and mirrored the Afternoon Rainbow Printable paper so the rainbow border would be the same on both sides of my spread.  I also removed the word "noted" that was a feature on the paper.  I cut out the Tall Titles word "together" using the Picnic Blanket Printable paper and backed it with graph paper, one of my favorite prints to use in my TN.

I adhered an acrylic heart and used some puffy letter stickers to finish off my title.

The photos I used were taken at my family's pond during our annual photo session.  It's always fun to capture some silly shots of my guys.

I used a variety of die cuts on my layout, adding foam to some of them for dimension.  I also added enamel dots, puffy stickers, and stamped the date and the "thankful" sentiment on a couple of the die cut pieces.

I have enjoyed sharing my first TCS project with you!  Thank you for stopping by today!

So Lucky TN Spread with Neftali

Happy Saturday scrappy friends! It’s Neftali here with you today to share some scrappy inspiration. Today I have a super duper quick Travelers Notebook spread using the Beach Bum cutfile set below using gelatos and a fun trick to mix them into your Travelers notebooks!

I only used the sea shell cutfile out of the Beach Bum set for this project.

Before I continue, let me show you the finished spread:

It’s a super simple spread that I decided to create to keep the main focus on this stunning photo of the sunset here in California. I also chose my colors from the photo and kept it to a monochromatic gold.
So for my background I brought out some more Gellatos in a copper, gold, and peach color.

I didn’t use water at all, instead, I used my fingers to rub out the color. It works wonders, too. The warmth of your fingers helps rub out the creamy crayons, and since were working on such thin pages from the TN notebook, this is a perfect technique to add a bit of color on your backgrounds.

I also used the gelatos to color over the cutfile and it just gives it the perfect pop off the page and the colors of the background.

Not only did I use the gold color schemes gellatos but I also added some gold shimmer spray. Then I was ready to add my photo. I just cut that to add to both sides of the spread, instead of folding it, and I finished it off with some gorgeous gold glitter Thickers with the phrase, “So Lucky.” Because seriously, there’s no other feeling you get standing at the foot of this glorious sight.

So, lovelies, this was pretty much all I did to create this TN spread. It came together very quickly, and I am actually currently loving popping into my TN or other projects to create simple projects that include new and fun techniques. I hope I have inspired you all to grab this cut file and give it a go for those summer photos you might have.

Thanks for stopping by today!

New Cut Files | Story Teller TN Decorative Page Covers

If you missed it, we've added some fun cut files to TCS Etsy store for Travelers Notebook lovers (they are also great for all of your paper projects, too!!)!  These cut files are sized to 4.25x8.25 to fit most TN inserts.  It's an easy and fast way to add an eye-catching look to your TN spread.  Today, we have a new set called Story Teller in the shop, with four awesome designs!

For those of you that might be new to Travelers Notebooks, they are just another form for documenting your memories.  I still love doing 12x12 layouts, but I have to admit that a 4.25x8.25 TN is so much easier on the storage front!  And if you're looking for inspiration for TN spreads, make sure you're following the Design Team, because they are always posting great pages in their notebooks!

I've got some inspiration to share with you today, using one of the designs from Story Teller.  I made my own TN insert over the weekend after being inspired by a class at Big Picture Classes by the talented Heba Alsibai.  I decided it would be fun to make an insert for each of the kids and document the many photos I have of them...starting with Reese.

This is a really fun format if you're intimidated by the full 12x12 layout or if you're looking for storage solutions like me, but don't want to cut back on your crafting.  And if you don't want to give up on your regular layouts, these cut files can be altered in your cutting software to use on your layouts.  Just have fun with them!

You can also find the Love Rules Travelers Notebook Decorative Page Cover cut file in the Shop under our Travelers Notebook section.  And keep an eye out for future TN cut files!
