spring | orange gearle

Hi! Orange Gearle here with a new layout for you using April's Freebie FriYAY cut file called Geo Florals.  Here is my layout:

I started with the cut file on a full 12x12 page. Then I deleted a few of the flowers to leave some empty spaces. Finally, I turned three of the florals into stitching lines. Then I cut the file and got busy!

I backed my flowers with papers from Page Evan's Turn the Page 2x2 pad. I used a few pieces from the 6x6 pad as well. Here are a few close ups.

I fussy cut some flowers from the 6x6 pad to use as embellishments, added a few paint splatters and some enamel dots to finish it off.

I made a video of my process if that is something that suits your fancy! I have also added a short tutorial that shows how I change the cutlines to stitching lines in my Silhouette software.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Home is with Mom | Kelly Janes

Hey there friends & Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! Kelly here with you today sharing a new 12x12 scrapbook layout using the Wreathed in Love Cut File.

I wanted to create a frame for my layout, so I used the "slice" feature in Cricut Design Space to separate the bottom cut file image. I then duplicated both pieces and used the "flip-vertical" feature on 2 of the images. I then positioned and "welded" the images together to create the frame. [You will find a step by step tutorial of how I did this in my YouTube Process Video at the bottom of the post.]

I knew my layout would be going up on the Blog on Mother's Day so I thought it would be fitting to create a layout about my mom. I used patterned papers, stickers, and Thickers from the Pink Paislee Pick Me Up Collection designed by Paige Evans to embellish my layout.

Now you can take a look at my process video that includes a Cricut tutorial.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today & remember to visit The Cut Shoppe Etsy Store to check out all of the cut files & digital collections!

Hello Summer Layout | Donna Espiritu

Hello, everyone!

Donna here with a new layout using one of the cut files included in the April Showers set.

I started with a white cardstock splattered with watercolors. Then, I cut half an inch off the top and one of the sides before adhering to a colorful patterned paper.

I backed the scalloped borders with several papers from the Hello Summer collection by Simple Stories. I actually made a mistake while making this lol! I miscalculated the placement of the backed cut files and I already adhered it in place. So, I doodled black dots to make the backed cut files stand out a bit more.

I love how this layout turned out, colorful and refreshing.

Thanks for dropping by!
Happy crafting,

Plaits, Plaits & Plaits | Tarrah McLean

Hi Cut Shoppe fans!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a new layout using the 'And Then' cut file set from The Cut Shoppe store!

My sister plaited her daughter's hair for the first time a few weeks ago and now Amelia wants plaits in her hair every single day! My sister said, 'Oh, what have I got myself into here?!' Hence my choice of title Plaits, plaits & plaits!

The 'And Then' cut file set was perfect to choose an ampersand from to form part of the title. I chose the one with the rectangles in so I could back a striped paper behind it. I used mostly the Crate Paper 'Good Vibes' and 'Carousel' collections for this layout.

That little chippie scallop circle that says 'Stay Golden' was just perfect for the photos of Amelia as her hair is a pretty golden blonde! I hope it stays golden for her but sadly it probably won't!

Another perfect embellishment were the bows included in the Carousel collection. I chose a fabric bow and layered a puffy sticker bow over the top!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure you check out the Cut Shoppe store to purchase the amazing cut files that are in there!

Happy creating!

*{Magic Moment}* - Shannon Morgan

Happy Tuesday! It's Shannon here, sharing a layout with you today featuring "The Working Title" & "The Picture Perfect" cut files:

Thanks for taking a look at my layout! I love the fonts and how easy it is to work with Ashley's files! This is probably one of my favorite pictures that I've ever gotten of Mack, Molly and Sarah. They are the sweetest girls and they were celebrating a victory, they were all smiles,  the lighting was perfect, it truly was a magic moment.

Make sure you stop back tomorrow for more inspiration from the design team!

Ain't Life Grand - Erica Thompson

Hello everyone!  Erica here with you today back on the blog!  I hope you all had a great iNSD and participated in our fun challenges!  Remember you have until May 11th to enter in TCS challenges!  Today I am sharing a layout  using the Heart Breaker cut file!
I just love this file and I had so much fun backing it with fun papers from the Ain't Life Grand collection from Pretty Little Studio designed by Ashley Horton.

I love this photo of my pregnant belly!  I took as many belly photos as I could this time around knowing it would be my last.  Baby was all on one side this night and just kicking away.  We did not find out what we were having which made it even more exciting!  I love how the pattern papers look behind this cutfile!  I used pinks, blues and black and white which is one of my favorite color combos.  Here is a look at my completed layout!

I kept the embellishments light on this layout because I wanted the background to really stand out!  I hope you like this layout and you create something fun with this cut file!  Make sure to visit The Cut Shoppe today to check out all the great cut files!

Girl Power - Caroli Schulz

Hello guys! How are y'all? Carol here, and today I want to share a new layout I made, this time using Girl Power cut file.

I loved this cut file, specially the heart shape, so I decided to use it for scrapping a pic of me little girl and me. Here's my layout:

As you can see, I decorated the heart and turned it in some kind of wreath by using also some flowers exclusively designed for Scrapbook Nerd and available for free at their website:

For this layout I used Hello collection by Doodlebug, it seemed perfect for the girly subject of this layout.

I used my sewing machine to stitch a bit over the heart and over one of the letter, this is something I do often with big cut files because I love the effect. Also, some loose thread is a nice controlled messy detail :)

I used some foam dots for volumen, because who doesn't love volume anyway!

I hope you liked this idea and got some inspiration to work on your scrapbooks. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a lovely day!
