Costa Rica by Caroli Schulz

Hi there! How are you today? Caroli here, and I'm sharing my very last project as part of the DT here at The Cut Shoppe.

In this layout I've used The Floral Leaf cut file as background, and also used The Funky Floral cut file.

I created a simple but fun layout using The Bright Side collection by Fancy Pants and this lovely photo of all the ladies that attended to my scrapbook workshop in Costa Rica last March.

I love the volume of this cut file, it makes a great effect as background. As embellishment, I created these cluster flowers I cut using some dies by American Crafts.

I really love all the volume and texture of this cut file, love it!

I wrote my journaling in a bunch of tags lined one over another, I think this is a really eye-catching effect.

I am very pleased with the result of this layout, it's full of color and volume, I love that! I hope you liked it too and got inspired to work with this cut file.

I want to thank Ashley for the opportunity of being part of her DT, I've really enjoyed working with her cut files and I hope I got the chance to inspire you all. Thank you very much and see you around on social media!

Summer by Caroli Schulz

Hello peeps!  Caroli here, sharing a new layout I made using fabulous cut files by The Cut Shoppe. In this layout I used The Rough Waters cut file as background. and for my title I used part of The Vacay Mode cut file.

For this layout I used Sweet Summer collection by Doodlebug Design, I love how colorful and happy it is!

I created few embellishment clusters using few diecuts, I love the effect.

Since all the page is so full of color and patterned paper, I cut my tittle in white yardstick to make it stand out.

I love the summery and relaxed feel of this layout, it documents happy memories of our summer vacations from last year. Hope you like this idea and got inspired to work with these gorgeous cut files.

Thank you for joining me today, have a lovely day!

Six Months for Xmas by Caroli Schulz

Hello there! Caroli here, and today I want to share with you a new layout I've made using some fabulous cut files available at The Cut Shoppe's Etsy store.

This time I used the DIY Quilt as background and the Super Star Alpha for my title.

I am a Christmas lover, I just can't help it! I listen to Christmas music the whole year and every June 25 I throw a party with my friends to celebrate the there are only six months left for Christmas, it's so much fun! This is what my layout is all about, here it is:

I backed just some of the spaces in the background cut file because I wanted a simple look, also because I loved this turquoise paper I used as base and wanted to see it through.

I used a foam dots and enamel dots to enhance some of the die cuts I used as embellishments, I think that volume is always is a good idea!

As I said before, for my title I used the Super Star Alpha, which I backed with patterned paper and embellished with some enamel stars and diecuts. Also, I stitched a bit with my sewing machine on some of the letters, in order to make the design more eye catching.  I completed the title with some enamel letters.

I love how funny and colorful this layout came out. I used Fancy Pants Design's Wish Season collection, of one my fave Christmas collections so far because i has a lot of pink and turquoise colors <3

I hope you liked this layout and get inspired, it's never to early to start thinking about Christmas, uh? Have a lovely day!!

Comiendo Solito by Caroli Schulz

Hello there! Caroli here, sharing a layout I made using fabulous Go With The Flow cut file, which actually is August's freebie

I love this cut file, it's just perfect to use as background and use lots of patterned papers on it, and that is exactly what I did in this layout :)

I browsed in my stash and found some leftovers of Happy Place collection by Fancy Pants, and put them to good use in my layout. The pics feature my baby bow having his first meal all by himself, he's just an independent eater now!

I backed half of the cut file with patterned paper, and left the other half empty, I like the effect. To add an extra texture detail I used my sewing machine and stitched a bit over the cuts.

Since I didn't have a bigger journaling spot, I used several tiny labels overlapping themselves and wrote my journaling there, I love the funny look of this.

This is a very simple and layout, full of bright colors and good memories,  I enjoyed working on it and using this awesome cut file and background.

Hope you got inspired to work on your scrapbooks now, thank you for being with us today, see you on a next post!

Lil Dude by Caroli Schulz

Hi there! Caroli here, and I'm so glad to share with you a layout I made using fabulous The Boy Mom cut file, available at TCS Easy shop!

This file offers so much possibilities, in this case I used the "Lil Dude" phrase because I love big bold titles,  this is what I made:

As you can see, I cut the file in white cardstock, so I used a gray background to make it stand out. The colors Dragon Tails collection by Doodlebug Design matched perfectly the colors of my photos, so this was the collection I used here.

This little boy of mine is such a force of nature and that is what I journal about in this page. I used letters D of the file as journaling spot, I love how this came out.

I backed the letters with patterned paper in bright colors matching my pic, also used my sewing machine to stitch around some of them, love the effect.

I went a bit crazy with dragons on the bottom of the page, I just adore those little critters, couldn't help it!

This is a simple and funny layout, I enjoyed using this cut file, as a Boy Mom boy themed stuff is always very welcome :)

I hope you liked this layout, I had a blast working on it so hope you got inspired to use the cut file. Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

"Bebe Galan" by Caroli Schulz

Hello peeps! How are you? Today I want to share here this layout I made using The Untamed Heart cut file

This is such a simple cut file, but it offers a lot of possibilities! This is the layout I made:

As you can see, the cut file takes almost all the page, but at the same time you have plenty of space for photos and embellishments. I used Little by Little collection by Shimelle, it's so sweet and perfect for this pics of my little boy.

I backed some of the spaces using photos, patterned paper, and also used some of the spaces for writing my journaling. I put my title combining Thickers and a word I cut using free font Better Together.

I hope you liked this idea and got inspired to use this file on your scrapbooks, hopefully you are heading to your scrap room now :)

Thank you for stopping by today, have a great day!

Expreso Yourself by Caroli Schulz

Hello there!! Caroli here, and today I want to share this layout I made using fabulous Espresso Yourself cut file.

I love coffee, its smell and its delicious taste, so when I saw this cut file I knew I had to make something with it to document my love for it.

I still had some leftovers of Cream & Sugar collection from Doodlebug design, this was one of my fave collection last year and used almost all of it, but it was just perfect for the subject of my layout, so I had to figure out how to make the best use of the tiny scraps I had.

For this reason (and since I almost had no embellies of this collection) I decided to use the big title as main embellishment of my page, and loved the result!

As you can see, I backed the title and also I cut some of the letters in patterned paper and adhered them over the cut file using some foam dots, with a nice volumen effect.

I also used my sewing machine to stitch some of the letters too, love this effect and use it often.

Since most of the elements in this layout are on left side, I wrote my journaling on the right side, just to keep the balance of the design. I journal about how I love coffee and evrything coffee related, this was the perfect cutfile for this purpose!

I love this layout,it documents something that makes me happy, and it looks pretty as well.  I hope you liked it as well and got inspired to work on your scrapbooks, thank you for stopping by, have a great weekend!
