Dashing through the SNOW! // Audrey Yeager

Are you in the holiday spirit?  I love scrapping the Christmas holiday and winter photos, and there are so many great cut files in the store.  I used the new "Sleigh Ride" cut file from the store along with the "Season's Greetings" file for my title:

Season's Greetings

I began by cutting my sleigh from the Sleigh Ride cut file from gold foiled cardstock.  I first cut the title from white cardstock, but later changed it to navy.  I backed the sleigh with red patterned paper.

Next, I began adding some gesso to my background papers, and cutting a "hill" shape from my tree patterned paper. 

I tucked my photo into the sleigh and added some die cut presents, candy cane stickers, and a machine stitched Christmas tree die cut behind it.

To jazz up my sleigh even more, I added a tiny set of single bells to the front, and some layered flowers from my stash.

Finally, I added some due cut snow flakes, tiny house stickers on the hill, and my title near the sleigh.

Come Let Us Adore Him | Mandy Melville

Hi everyone!

Mandy here with you today to share a Christmas themed layout that I created using the new Adore Him cut file, available to purchase from The Cut Shoppe! Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and I love capturing all of the joy and excitement as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

Large titles like this are one of my favourite types of cut files to use on my layouts! I think they look really effective, and draw the viewer into the page, and they also make the design process really easy!

I started my layout off by backing each of the letters in the cut file with patterned papers from the Felicity Jane Noel collection. I then adhered the cut file to the background using foam tape to give it lots of dimension.

I printed my photos slightly smaller than 3x4 inches, leaving a thin white border around them. I then then matted them with a woodgrain patterned paper and tucked them into the spaces around the title.

I embellished my page with some die cuts, a few fussy cut poinsettias, and gold puffy stickers, all from the Noel collection. And to finish it off I added some typed journaling strips.

Jingle All The Way | Tarrah McLean

It's Tarrah McLean with you today to share a Christmas themed layout using the newsletter subscriber exclusive recent free cut file - Jingle All The Way!

I chose to just use the title for my layout today, I left off the baubles. I backed each word with a different Christmas patterned paper and then added craft foam underneath the whole title and adhered it down towards the bottom of my background paper.

I chose a small photo of my boys from Christmas Day last year and changed it to black and white to co-ordinate with the colours in the collection. I added a small piece of striped patterned paper underneath my photo and also added craft foam under the photo to pop it up off the page. I then added the white tree card beside my photo and added some enamel dots to the tree! 

I continued to embellish using some wood veneer pieces both layered on top of my photo and straight onto the background paper. The ampersand and Good Times together piece went perfectly right there in the centre of my title. I also added a couple of acrylic pieces like the star to the right of 'Jingle' and the present to the left of 'Jingle'.

Hi friends! It's Kylie with you today, sharing a brand new layout I have just completed. It features the super pretty Floral Frame cut file available on The Cut Shoppe website.

Once my lovely frame was cut I chose 3 different papers to act as border pieces for my layout. They were layered together and a machine stitched border was also added. (Note: I am working with the 'Blessed' paper collection by Kaisercraft.) I wanted the centre of my frame to stay white so I kept the off cut piece left on my cutting mat to use as a template. I backed the flowers of my cut file and then used the centre piece to trace around on white cardstock and cut slightly larger so it was a neat fit within the frame.

Using some die cuts from the paper collection I added small clusters both over my photo and at the opposite corner.

This was done with some foam tape so that they sat up off the page, adding lovely dimension to my completed design.

Welcome to December and a brand new day. I love this time of year and I also love recording all the fun of the season in my December album. Today I am sharing my first day in my December album.

I have used the Tinsel Town set and the Bits and Baubles set, taking the Joy  and the tree from both sets and reducing in size to fit in the 3x4 pockets. I love how the look!

I love the white cardstock cut files against the gold glitter paper.

The joy I cut on some white cardstock and adhered it to the 3x4 piece of gold paper. I then added a punched red star and letter stickers over the top.

I trimmed the tree from the Bits and Baubles set in half, backed it with some gold glitter paper and laid it on the left of my 3x4 card.

I can't wait to create more in my December album.

Wrapping All the Way | Vânia Fonseca

Hello crafty friends! Vânia here again, today i´m sharing a 12x12 layout using the Wrapping All the Way cut file, that you can find on The Cut Shoppe.

I´m using a family photo from past Christmas that i really want to use in a layout.

I´ve started by cutting the file in white card stock, then i chose some patterned papers from the Snowflake collection from Crate Paper to baked the file. For the background i´m using a paper from the Heritage collection from Maggie Holmes.

To add a little bit of  dimension i glued some elements behind and some above, mixing stickers with die cuts and also stamped images.

I also add some hand stitching on the center of the bow, because it adds texture and a fun touch.
