Building Bella

Hi everyone!  It's Thursday, and that means it's time to share a layout, using the new Cut File sets that have been added to The Cut Shoppe.  I've had the new Serendipity collection from Dear Lizzy, just sitting and wanting to be used, so I thought it would be perfect with the new Retro Rounded Corners cut file!  Here's how I used both on my layout:

I removed a row from the 12x12 background, to create 9 shapes instead of 12 and cut them from different patterned papers in the Dear Lizzy Serendipity 6x6 paper pad.  After I had all of my shapes in place, I added machine stitching, and then used a Yellow Gelato in some of the White spaces for a little bit more color.  I also used the new Tiny Type cut file, to number the photos on my layout.  That's right, this one has alphas and numbers!  YAY!  Once my numbers were in place, I did a quick machine stitch to add a bit of texture.

When you stop by The Cut Shoppe, make sure you check out all three of the new Cut File sets!

And don't forget to play along and link up this month for our January Cut It Out Challenge, for the chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to The Cut Shoppe!
