Thankful cards | Victoria

Hi friends, Victoria today sharing with you my last project for The Cut Shoppe.

I love to make cards to say thank you to my loved ones.
Those kinds of cards that just pop into their letter box and light up their day!

I made those cards with the Thanks & Giving cut file.
I just cutted them in a card size, that can fit easily into an envelope.

I chose the collection "Along the Way" from Pebbles to make those cards.
I used a few embellishments like stickers, ephemeras, flair buttons and foam thikers.

It's really simple to do, and I love the result !

Hope you'll like it!

LOVE 24/7

Today I'm sharing with you the layout I created using the "A Banner Day" cut file from The Cut Shoppe on Etsy! I cut the banner file out of a sheet of printed paper from my stash. I had lots of chipboard elements and enamel dots that I added around the photo.

Yes, I did make a full page layout about my love affair with frozen confections.
Ice cream, gelato, fro yo, it really doesn't matter. I love it all.

Be sure and check out all the inspiration on the blog while you are here!
The design team has been creating some pretty amazing work!

Thanks for stopping!

Here & There {Day 3} Scrapbook Circle Team Up

Welcome to Day 3 of the Scrapbook Circle & Cut Shoppe Team Up!

Today's layout features these fun cork stickers from Journey by Crate Paper, Pink Paislee Paper and embellishments, flair from Scrapbook Circle and a great big photo from my collection!  Have you ever scrapbooked a huge photo? This one is an 8x8 and I will definitely do more this size!

I used the Etc. Etc. Etc. cut file and extracted and reversed the heart and arrow from that file.

Be sure and check back everyday this week! The team will continue to have tons of amazing inspiration all week! Did you know we are giving away a June Kit from Scrapbook Circle? They are giving away a $20.00 gift card to The Cut Shoppe on their blog. Make sure you stop by and say hi because the winner will be chosen from the blog comments throughout the week! Seriously Smoochy!

Happy Sunday, Friends!
Stephanie here!
Today I'm sharing with you my layout I did using part of the Moody Blues cut file.

A little backstory with this . . .  one of the field trips I took with my son's 4th grade class this year was to the Northeast Iowa Community College Diary. Here they have a fully operational dairy farm that the kids get to tour. They learn about the digestive system of the cow, how to make homemade ice cream, the dairy industry, as well as loads of other information.  It was actually very interesting and the kids had a great time! My son and I were using every chance we had for photo ops. This was definitely one of my favorite photographs from the day!

You can get this cut file along with ALL of Ashley's cut files over at The Cut Shoppe on Etsy! Be sure and check out the blog as well for tons of inspiration from the design team!

Thanks for stopping by!

Shine

I've been inspired lately by all the beautiful stitching I've been seeing and I wanted to give it a go.  But, I'm quite lazy and didn't feel like cutting out a cutfile and tracing around it.  I googled to see if my Silhouette could poke the stitching holes for me and sure enough I found a tutorial by Corri Garza using a text box full of periods...... that you then toggle ('Edit Points' function in the top left hand corner) to the outline of the cutfile and just cut those :D

So much for it being a shortcut, though, that was a lot of stitching!  I used the adorable Light it Up cutfile and made it ginormous.  It took forever but I love how it turned out :D

The Light It Up cut file consists of 4 light bulb icons, that can be used on your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects.

I also used the Heart Burst cutfile, but shrunk it to back my title.

Have a fantastic day!

I Love the Life We Live

Is it too early to wish you a Happy New Year? I'll do it anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Imagine me throwing confetti in the air and blowing one of those noisy horns in your ear!.

I am pretty excited about 2015! I'm ready for it!

I chose the Make It Merry cut file from The Cut Shoppe, for this layout. I have wanted to use this paper for quite some time and I thought it would be perfect for this project to feature the stars on this bright paper from MAMBI. The photo is actually an older photo of the boys, but I felt like it fit with the rest of the layout beautifully!

Overall, I kept the layout relatively simple, that isn't always the case. But, I really want this photo, their expressions and the story it's telling to be the focal point.

I took two close up photographs to show you the detail in the star designs.
I love that they have both positives and negatives throughout the entire design.
You really should try it with patterned paper!

Don't forget today is the last day to snag up all the great cut files to use throughout the year! Use code MERRY25 to say 25% on your purchase!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy New Year!

Parade fun

Hey everyone, Amy here to share a layout I created using the Bitty Borders cut file, which I just love!

Here's the layout I created.

I managed to use the cut files in a couple of different ways. I used the negative of the plus sign as a mask with mist, then stitched down some of the plus signs as well.  Then I cut apart the border and put them all around my page.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Laugh All Day

Hello everyone, it's Cari here, this is my final post for The Cut Shoppe, I'm sad but so happy to have the opportunity to be here and share with so many wonderful girls! I will miss this team!

For today I made a layout using the All Tied Up cut file, and created a very big tittle with a quote I find on pinterest which said " Live you life like Sponge Bob..." the rest of the quote you can read on my layout.

I love this quote! It's so fun and true and the alphabet Ashley created was just as fun as the quote.

You can find  the All Tied Up cut file here, and remember to check other cuts in the store, they are all amazing!

I hope you like it!

#hashtag Family

Hello Everyone, Cari here! Today I'm showing you a layout about my family. Here in Chile Coca Cola also made bottles with your name on it, but the familiar size instead of names had lastnames. My sister insist on taking us a photo with the bottle of coke with our lastname, so if you are wondering why is a bottle in the middle of the photo, that is why LOL.

For this layout I used "The Happy Hashtag" cut file to make my tittle.

And also the leaves and one of the flowers include in one of my faves from the store "The Funky Florals" cut file.

You can find "The Happy Hashtag" here, and "The Funky Florals" here.
I hope you like my layout! Remember to take a look to the Etsy Shop, to see all the new cuts that have been included recently, they are wonderful!

Just Saying

Hello everyone! Here is Cari with my last layout with the kit from Clique Kit. The set of cuts that  Ashley created for this blog hop inmediately turns into ones of my favorites ever so I made a lot of  layouts with them and I now I will keep using it for sure.

In this time I used 3 talk bubbles from "The Just Saying" cut and added some tape on the back to make them look blue and glittered.

I love how it looks like my niece where talking LOL. This cut it also reminds me "The Fault In Our Stars" cover.

You can get The Just Saying cut here and you will get all four bubbles!

I hope you like it!!

You're the one

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a rare LO featuring my husband. :)

I have wanted to use the "A Walk in the Clouds" file since Ashley first shared it. I LOVE this design! My fellow DT members have used it perfectly so I wanted to show you a different way to use it - cut up :) Yes it might feel a bit strange to cut up such a perfect file, but be brave! You can then use the clouds on several projects :)

I have also used part of a title from the "So in Love" cut file. I outlined it to make it stand out more against the patterened papers and the photo!

Thanks for stopping by today, please let us know when YOU have created with any of the cut files!!
