Kelly here with you today to share a new 12x12 scrapbook layout using The Everyday Essentials Cut File & The You've Been Punc'd Cut File!

I cut a couple stars and an ampersand from The Everyday Essentials & a couple of the icons from The You've Been Punc'd Cut File using 6x6 patterned papers from the Crate Paper Cool Kid Collection. The photo I'm documenting is a self portrait my son drew of himself at school. I thought the CP Cool Kid Collection set the perfect tone for this layout! I tucked the cut files right alongside all of the other die cuts & embellishments to help enhance the layout.

I love using cut files as large focal points, but it's also so fun to size them down and use them as embellishments! There are just so many possibilities when it comes to cut files!!

Ain't Life Grand

Hi! Irit here and I'm excited to share with you my latest project using some great heart cut files from The Cut Shoppe. I created a large shaker element on my layout, here it is-

I created this layout to document a visit to the children's museum in Schoenbrunn palace in Vienna. At the end of the exhibition everyone can dress up as queens and kinds, so much fun!

 Here are the cut files I used-

I cut one of the hearts from Bless your heart, adhered it to a piece of acetate, and then adhered that to a piece of pink patterned paper, but leaving a little opening to pour in the sequins.

I used another heart design from Everyday Essentials as a smaller embellishment, and backed that with light blue patterned paper.

Hello There!

Hi! Irit here with a new project using some fun cut files from The Cut Shoppe. Here's my finished project-

I used these cut files-

 

I used the Washi Love with white cardstock and backed it with patterned papers.

For my embellishments I layered and welded images from Oodles Of Doodles.

And my Hello There title is from Everyday Essentials. I love the subtle look of white on white.

Little Moments With Irit

Hi! Irit here with a layout I created using a fun new cut file from The Cut Shoppe. Here's the finished project-

I used the Everyday Essentials cut file for this one. 

I supersized one of the images and used it as a main design element, backing it with different patterned paper.

All the patterned papers are from the Happy Day Felicity Jane kit. The Thickers are by Amy Tan.

I also used the star image, but only cut the outline, and resized some so I could sew a fun little embellishment.

Best Kid Ever

Hello friends!  Candace here today sharing with you a fun boy themed layout using my current favorite cut file the Everyday Essentials cut file set.

If I haven't said it already, I love this cut file!  It really does have the "Everyday Essential"  cut files that you would need for your projects.  The possibilities are endless!  

One of my favorite techniques is to mix open space in cut files with stitching.  The star in the center of this cut file set is perfect for this!  Here is a look at the final layout!

In the close ups you can see how I switched between keeping the file open or stitching around it.  This add more dimension and interest to your layout.

I loved using all the fun embellishments from the Cool Kid collection from Crate Paper!  Such a super fun collection for documenting all the boy moments in life.

All My Love

Today's layout is brought to you by the Everyday Essentials cut file!

I was immediately drawn to the string-art "Love" and wanted it to be the main focus of a layout.

I cut the "Love" from patterned paper, and layered it over my photo. Next, I added some Gelatos to the background beneath my photo to give it an added layer of interest.

 I used gold rub ons and coordinating flowers throughout the page. I decided to make the title "All My Love" so I added gold Thickers to the side of the L. I finished the page off with some gold mist!

We are so excited to have a new Guest Designer with us today!  Welcome Niki Rowland!  Niki has created a beautiful layout to share with us, using the Tall Type Alpha cut file and the Everyday Essentials cut file!  Let's get to know Niki, before we take a look at what she created!

Hi Lovelies, my name is Niki, I'm 33 years old and live just outside London in the UK with my husband and two gorgeous young children, who spend most of their time driving me insane and sabotaging my crafting efforts, but they give me something to scrap about so I don't mind :)  I'm a SAHM, full time scrapbooker and part-time childminder. I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember and have been in love with scrapbooking since about 2001. I love nothing more than retreating to my craft room and playing with pretty paper, yes, I am a pretty paper addict.

I love to create bright, fun and detailed layouts about my life right now and my children. I'm a 'throw it all on' kind of girl, because I have so much stash that I would drown in it if I didn't pile it high on my layouts. LOVE the Beach!

Hello everyone, Monique here sharing one of the layouts I created for The Cut Shoppe! For today's layout I chose the "Everyday Essentials" cut file which I adore! Not only because there are so many different images included in this one cut file, but also because the cut file is so versatile! For my layout I only used the word "love" and a photo from my summer vacation last month. The word "love" became part of my layout title: "love the beach".

I adhered different sheets of patterned paper behind every letter of the cut file and next I embellished the letters as well. Love those puffy sun glasses from Elle's Studio. (All the papers and embellishments I used are from the Scraptastic Club June Wipeout kit.)
