Going Batty

Happy October 1st!  I love the month of October, and my kids have already asked me about a million times how much longer it is until Halloween!  So I thought we would kick off this month with some fun, new Halloween sets in The Cut Shoppe!  Today, there are 5 new cut file sets available and a Printable Cut Ups!  I created a layout using the new Wacky Web cut file and the Wicked Fun cut file.

I cut the Wacky Web fairly large from Black card stock and backed it with a few patterned papers from the Crate Paper After Dark collection.  Before adhering it to the background paper, I added some White machine stitching.  Then I added pop dots under my photo, and clustered embellishments from the After Dark collection around the photo.  For the title, I used the Dear Lizzy Documentary Cork Thickers, and placed them on the outside edge of the web.  And since the title of my layout was Going Batty, I definitely had to use the bat image from the Wicked Fun cut file set.

There are a lot more sets in The Cut Shoppe today, so make sure you stop by and check them out!  Here's a look at what you'll find!
